"Reported Kayan LLC/R. Lala to Consumer Protection. No respect for the elderly of parent of a disabled child. His masonry work was poor. Had to hire another company to repair the incomplete work. Did not glue on the caps that lay on the wall blocks, trim blocks to appropriate size and did not reinforce open gaps between the side walls and the floor pavers. Carpentry work was extremely poor job. He put up a ceiling under a deck, but did not make any provisions for installing a gutter or slanting the roof and the water accumulated between plywood and the outer panels. I had to hire a different contractor to remove these panels as they would have fallen on someone. Panels removed with one hand, leading to a downpour of accumulated water. He charged a miter saw and roofing nailer to my credit card and refused to return the tools and unused supplies. Quoted $3750 to powerwash and paint my handicap ramp in freezing temp and yelled at me when I refused. No remorse for his actions. "

"My review of the work I have had done by Thomas Gianni & Sons Inc.. They really did a great job of working on my property. I call their office and asked to get some excavation of removing a couple of tree stumps in my yard and to put down approx. 20 yds. of gravel in an area near my shed. It was just about three or four days and they call me back to confirm to come out the next day, June 22. Their employee came by early in the morning and went over all the project. Figured out what equipment he needed and measured up for the materials and started the work about an hour later. He was very cautious and caring about minimal damaging to the yard. After removing the stumps he graded the surrounding area with the machine to the point where I only needed to rake it out to plant new grass. The gravel was put down flat and clean; not a mess. I would definitely hire them again."

"Chris from Continental Builders came to quote railings for my deck to be install. He was looking at the posts and saw a bad one,at that time I told him I know it wasn t strong. He pushed on it and split the post.told me even if doesn t get the job he will fix it for free. My son called to talk about the post ,at that time Chris said I guess I m not getting the job and hung up on him. That is not professional at all."

Len was very punctual, efficient with his time, had all the right materials and tools, knew what had to be done, had great suggestions, and wonderful execution. Clean up was splendid, and his pricing was very reasonable. I enjoyed his work ethic so much, he is coming back to perform more services next week… Observing him work, my neighbor liked his skill sets as well , so much so…he hired him to do some work on his home this week, weather dependent. Len works on your projects like he was working at his own home… no short cuts…. Solid quality work with quality materials. Observing Jeremy and the SHP teamwork was amazing. I have never seen such a talented, dedicated, caring, and creating team. They worked with amazing efficiency and effectiveness. I can attest, based on other projects we have taken on, this project would have taken much longer than the five short weeks (including Christmas and below freezing temperatures) this took. The quality of their work was remarkable and the pride in their workmanship was always evident. The extra touches he included in the project and the counsel he provided gave us 100% confidence that he would do what was right and that he, and SHP, would go above and beyond. The house is beautiful, and Jeremy and SHP will always hold a place in our hearts. They are an absolute gift, and they are now considered part of our family. I did not know Jeremy before this project, but I now count him as a friend. Going forward, we will call Jeremy and SHP first and we will know that he will care for us and for our house as if it was his own."
