"Vince reached out by phone immediately after I inquired about quote to install custom sized window screens. He was out personally the next day to look at our home and provide an accurate quote and scope of work. Easy pricing (quote fixed cost per window/screen) and then Jessie was out at my earliest convenience to do the job. Jessie was easy to work with and did a great job / was a one man show. Measured, cut screens on property and installed. Front to back easiest experience with home repair could have hoped for. Highly recommend."

"Fernando, Louis and Marco are consummate professionals who are highly skilled. They resolved many of my needs, including the installation of crown molding and baseboards, painting, cabinet door realignment, and sliding door repair. Although they are more expensive than home services I have used in the past, they match or exceed in quality the workmen I've used for my home. As for responsiveness, timeliness, and cleanliness, nobody beats them. They are the best. It was a pleasure having Fernando, Louis, and Marco in my home."

"Brian and his team were very professional, organized and thorough. They were very clean, covering all our belongings with plastic, making sure that they vaccuumed as they sanded our ceiling and overall left the place as clean as how they found it. Their work ethic was extraordinary, working all day, with limited break time. They were very courteous and Brian checked in multiple times during the day to ensure the level of work was what he expected. Overall, we will definitely use Brian and his team again, as well as recommend them to anyone that we know."

"Nixon inspected and quoted the repairs I needed done at my house the same day I first contacted him. Him and his crew were able to squeeze in my day and a half project as soon as good weather was available the following week. All his workers were skilled and detail oriented so the completed repairs were done to a high standard. They left the job site meticulously clean of all old materials and construction debris. Nixon is reliable and I will use him again for future projects."

Customers say: Quick response

"Stefan Korn and his crew removed and replaced all of the rotted and ripped screen-panel walls and doors that made up our screened porch with his far superior screen/frame products -- dog-proof screen on the lower panels and regular screen on the top. He and his crew performed the work in an exceptionally professional and timely fashion and somehow managed to keep everything remarkably neat and tidy during the process. We couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. We also truly enjoyed working with Stefan and his men. They have our highest recommendation. Their work is worth every penny."

Window Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Adding a window to a brick house costs $3,100 to $10,575. Because you’ll need to make changes to the structure of the home, the cost will include obtaining permits and hiring the best pros for this complex job. Larger windows will cost more to install, and the cost can vary based on the window frame material you choose.

The cost ultimately depends on size, but roughly, the most popular screen materials will set you back anywhere from around $0.25 to over $25 per square foot. Fiberglass and aluminum are usually less expensive at around $0.25 to $0.70 per square foot. Solar screens cost about $7.50 to $15 per square foot, while security screens range from around $10 to $25 per square foot.

While the benefits of garage door screens usually outweigh the downsides, there are some cons to installing one. First off, they can be quite expensive, especially if you’re having a professional install a retracting screen or a custom size screen. Second, they let fresh air and natural light in, but they also don’t provide the same privacy from people in the neighborhood that a solid door does. As you might guess, screens also won’t insulate your garage, so they’re often not usable in colder weather.

Many kinds of window screens, such as solar screens, are designed to reduce the amount of harmful ultraviolet rays that pass through them and enter your home. The materials typically have UV-blocking properties. However, they may not completely eliminate all UV rays from passing through your home. Different window screens are designed for different purposes, and not all are designed to block or reduce UV rays. Do your research to make sure you’re getting the type of window screen to suit your needs.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.
