"I have a fairly large piece of property. Prior owners didn't do any fall cleanup. You couldn't even remotely see the lawn or the driveway. Gutters were all overflowing with leaves and sticks, huge areas of bramble that had to be removed, hedges that ran the length of the property that were all seriously overgrown, and low hanging branches. Let me tell you, I got home today and i was in shock how absolutely amazing the yard looked. They accomplished soooo much work in a short period of time and it was simply beautiful! The price was very reasonable. I don't think I could have found any company to do a better job at a better price. Give these guys a shot, you will not be disappointed! Thanks Outdoor Property Services - you guys are amazing..."

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

The best way to remove snow from driveways is to use a two- or three-stage snow blower, which has the power to clear snow in a matter of minutes. Don’t forget to consider helpful options, such as a snow thrower, wheelbarrow plow, leaf blower, and hiring a professional snow removal company to clear off your driveway.

The best snow removal tools include a snowblower or a plastic shovel since they're less likely to damage your driveway's surface. Metal shovels can crack asphalt and concrete. It's also a good idea to install driveway markers since they can make it much easier for you to identify where you should shovel without damaging the surrounding yard.

The price of snow blowers varies significantly and depends on the type, brand, and model you buy. Snow blowers cost anywhere from $950 to $1,500 or more. Two-stage and three-stage snow blowers are more costly for self-propelled models with additional features such as power steering and heated hand grips.

It’s the reverse of home de-winterization. To winterize, you purge your plumbing system (including your water heater and all piping) of water. Some experts also recommend filling fixtures with an antifreeze solution. Other tasks involve winterizing sprinklers, sealing foundation vents, check weatherproofing around doors and windows, and more.

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.
