"Great. They called to make appointment. Called to let me know they would be there in 15 minutes, Were on time, professional, efficient. Due to house and plumbing being 50+ years old, they did have to find a part at the supply store but came right back and finished the job. They advised us to get the lower shut off valve fixed in the future and sent us an estimate. Very pleased and would recommend them to my friends.$199"

"I had a leak under my sink with water pouring out. Also a leaky washer and warm but not hot water in two showers. I called Mark and he was incredibly responsive, set up a time at my convenience. He is a very young guy, but incredibly knowledgeable. You gotta love that Scottish brogue!! My kitchen sink is a great example of what to expect from him, it was simply a hose that needed tightening. He showed me the problem, including how to fix it myself in the future and fixed it in about 2 minutes. With the washer, he told me it was an issue for the manufacturer, which I appreciated. He was able to quickly turn my warm shower into a hot one. I appreciate his honesty and expertise, he was great. He is the one I will call if I need a plumber again."

"Mike and the Plumbing Heros have been great to me! I’ve had bad experiences with many plumbers and contractors but Mike is extremely responsive, reliable, and skilled. He’s installed a backup sump pump/battery and snaked my renter’s shower. In addition, I’ve texted/called him many times with questions and he never hesitated to answer. I highly recommend!"

"Andrew Laschyk is the owner of Two Rivers Interiors, and we dealt with him personally on everything, which was always a pleasure.  Andrew is warm and funny, and is completely professional in his work.  The only knock I could possibly give him is that he is, at times, difficult to get on the phone.
When it comes to the work, the quality is the best I've seen.  We took a small, old, humdrum utilitarian kitchen and turned it into a showpiece.  The craftsmanship everywhere is superb, and on the crown molding is breathtaking.
Andrew and his workers were polite, professional and tidy; they did excellent work, and cleaned the place up beautifully when they were done.
Andrew prepared a detailed estimate, and never deviated from it without our advance consent.
Andrew does some really amazing large expensive work for people with mansions in our area, ad we were a relatively small job, but that made absolutely no difference to the quality of the work,  We are very very happy with the work does by Two Rivers; I would gladly recommend them to a friend, or to anyone, and would gladly hire them (and expect to!) to work on our home in the future.

"We called the company twice about a renovation we're doing that requires trenching back to an existing building behind the house. The first time, it was about running the trench, and we didn't use them because they wanted $70 to come out and do an estimate. The second time it was to see if they'd install the plumbing in the new space (kitchen & bathrooms sinks, shower, outside spout), but they said they're a small company and can't have anyone on a job two weeks or more. The gentleman was upfront & straight-forward, nothing against them &  I gave them an average grade, I just wanted to put this review up to save anyone time who's looking for that sort of work. Seems like they're more same-day, call-them-out-if-there's-a-leak plumbers.

"Narry and his team exceeded in their work and really made me feel at ease with the professionalism and effectiveness of his team. They were courteous, respectful, and most importantly, patiently listed to what I requested for the job. The quality of their work was impeccable (from drywalling, to the installation of items noted). What I loved about working with Narry and his team was that the communication was excellent; there were thorough lines of communication every step of the way. What was especially impressive what the teams attention to detail and how clean they kept the work site. At the end of every day, the team would keep the site clean and organized. It was a pleasure working with Narry and his team, and I would definitely recommend him for any work you are looking to do. I will surely be enlisting in his help for the future."

"Pacific Stone did a nice job. Person in charge of scheduling measurements and installation was pleasant and courteous. Within a few days of my inquiry they came out to my house to take measurements and they brought samples to choose from. Installation was done within a few weeks after that. Took away the old countertops and sinks. They know what they're doing. One of the installers was actually the owner and they were prompt and professional and cleaned up well."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

While stainless steel is quite durable, it is susceptible to scratching. If you use rough, abrasive cleaning tools like steel wool or brushes, you may wind up with scuffs in your stainless steel sink. Additionally, harsh household chemicals including chloride bleach can damage your sink’s finish and decrease its life span.

Read reviews and grades on Roto-Rooter specialists in your area online. Their website also lists all the professionals in your area by state. Sites like Angi can help connect you with local plumbing professionals, which may include Roto-Rooter.

There are few things more annoying than trying to fall asleep only to be woken up by the sound of a dripping faucet. If the faucet drips when the water is off, it probably has a loose or damaged seat washer. The screw gets loose from repeated use, making the faucet drip. With outdoor faucets, this is more common in the summer when people are using it more often to water the garden or cool off. Disassembling the faucet and tightening or replacing the seat washer and screw can get the dripping to stop.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

Older faucet fixtures may have some corrosion, leaving them stuck. Try a few techniques to loosen the fixtures.

  • Wrap the fixture with a towel and tap the base with a hammer.

  • Use a putty knife to gently remove any caulk that may be holding the handle or fixture in place.

  • Apply a few drops of penetrating oil around the base of the fixture or around the nuts.

  • Purchase a faucet pulling tool to pop the fixture loose.
