Feeling comfortable, we contracted with Rick to do the driveway. Within a week, Rick and his crew were at our house removing the old driveway, removing stone that would affect the new driveway, adding base gravel, rolling it multiple times, and preparing the landscape around the new driveway so that water run off would not damage the new driveway. By the next week (even with a few days delay due to rain), our brand new driveway was laid, and we could not be more than happy with how it looks. During the process, Rick was more than responsive to our questions. Even after the work was completed, Rick called to make sure we were happy with the outcome. "I've been meaning to get back here to tell people about these guys. I hired Nixon for two jobs. The first was to replace an attic vent that was installed god-knows how long ago plus replace a bit of trim and to re-anchor my gutters in the back which had come undone. Nixon is METICULOUS and neat as a pin. The only evidence work was done made itself known as about 5 or 10 grams of sawdust making up a small pile in the driveway. the attic vent replacement involved (apart from locating a matching vent that was originally placed back in the '80s...) a bit of carpentry and painting. It was all very neatly done and the entire job was executed flawlessly. Later, I hired him to paint and repair my deck - same story: meticulous painting and flawless work. I couldn't say enough good things about this guy. I will definitely hire him again. Definitely."

They were complete professionals! I had a few small additional things I wanted him to do and he did them without any new charges. Prior to having Alex install the drains and do the other repairs we would always have water coming into our basement, sometimes substantial amounts of water. It has now been about a month since he did the job and we have had two big rain storms and our basement is completely dry thanks to Alex's great work.
