"Been using AJ’s for years! Very reliable, quick and thorough work. They not only maintained the lawn and trimmed trees/bushes, they’ve even done stone paver work for me. Beautiful work - you’ll be in good hands!"

"Jeremiah and his crew are fantastic! Jeremiah arrived precisely on time to give us an estimate and also with the crew for the job. The tree they removed for us was a very tricky job. Jeremiah was amazing to watch. He worked safely and efficiently. A highly skilled climber, he artfully dismantled our 40 year old Norway maple, top to bottom. The clean-up was superb. All branches chipped and debris neatly raked. I highly recommend Autumn Leaves Tree Removal for any job. Nancy Macht"

"It has been a pleasure to work with OPS. The crew worked hard at clearing brush, mulching, seeding and removing poison ivy. They hardly stopped until the job was completed. Their project manager, Greg Dann, organized the schedule and made certain that everything was done to my satisfaction, even stopping by later to check on the crew's work."

Small jobs welcome

"Taking a chance on a new company just starting out, I enlisted Ryan Falcone and his new Falcone Landscape Design & Maintenance for a couple of select clean ups and overhaul of my homeâ s outdoor space. What a decision it turned out to be! From the initial consultation to the final touches, Ryan has been professional, hardworking, and always ready for the challenge. He transformed a weedy sloping hillside, our floor beds, and driveway into refreshed and ready to enjoy spaces. Communication was seamless, and his commitment was evident throughout our projects. I look forward to working with Ryan again soon!"

"Arthur did a great job repairing and re-installing my stone wall. He rebuilt it properly after a previous company installed it incorrectly. He used the proper equipment and materials such as, drainage pipes, gravel and pins to secure the retaining wall to my lakefront property. I highly recommend Art for your outdoor projects. He is professional, personable and fair. " Be Smart go with Art!! ""

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

If you don’t remove a bush properly, it’ll come back each year. Removing the root system entirely is the only way to ensure the plant doesn’t have a chance to grow back. You can also use natural weed killers or you can choose to suppress the area with landscaping fabric. Additionally, consider planting alternative, non-invasive vegetation to deter the return of thorn bushes.

Leaf removal, aeration, dethatching, mowing, pruning, and fertilizing are activities that prepare lawns for the next season.

The cost to remove all bushes around a house can vary widely based on the size and number of bushes, their location, and the complexity of the removal process. Smaller properties with fewer or smaller bushes may cost less, while larger properties with numerous or larger bushes will cost more. Additionally, if any bushes are located in hard-to-reach areas, you’ll likely pay additional labor costs. To get an accurate cost estimate, it’s always a good idea to obtain quotes from local landscaping or tree removal services based on the specific needs of your property.

To remove old grass effectively, you typically need to dig to one to two inches. This depth typically allows you to reach the root system of the grass, ensuring thorough removal. However, if the grass is a particularly dense or deep-rooted variety (such as Bermuda grass), or if you're planning to replace it with a different landscaping feature, you may need to dig deeper to loosen the soil and remove any underlying roots.

Skunks like to forage for grubs in the soil, like worms and insects, but they are also tempted by trash and pet food bowls, so keeping these items out of sight may help keep skunks away. Skunks also like to set up a den in dark places, such as a crawl space or outbuilding.
