Customers say: Quality work

"Arrived on site early and ready to clear the site. Very professional clearing of heavy brush and tree debris. Willing to negotiate a reasonable price acceptable for both parties. Will hire again when needed. Thanks Robert B."

Small jobs welcome

"Ron and his assistant arrived on time to do some fall cleanup landscaping at my house. What would have taken me three days to do, plus hauling away the debris, took them under two hours. It was the very best money I ever spent - more so because I got to meet such lovely people, but also because they helped me a great deal. I will be calling them in the spring for a clean up and masonry work."

"Ken is extremely professional. He's really easy to have in your house, quiet hard-working and tidy. The carpentry he did looks wonderful. He was able to make it match the rest of the house so it looks like it was meant to be."

"Josh was very quick to answer all our questions. His team completed the project in a day and half (3 large Hickory trees). Left the pieces in firewood length, so we could slit them later. Took all the brush and leaves away. Very happy with the service. Highly recommend. Thank you"

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

The easiest way to remove bushes is first to cut the bush down. You may need to use a handsaw, pruning shears, or a chainsaw for thicker branches. Once you’ve removed most of the branches, you can then cut the base of the shrub as low to the ground as you can get. Then, with a shovel, dig around until you expose the roots. Dig out the roots, being careful not to leave any roots in the soil.

Experts remove leaves methodically, preventing mold and allowing sunlight to strengthen grass, promoting robust growth.

While tipping junk haulers is not required or expected, it is a greatly appreciated gesture for a job well done. Many junk removal companies state that tips are welcome but not mandatory. A good rule of thumb is to tip between 10% and 20% of the total bill, or a flat amount of $10 to $20 per worker. For exceptional service, a tip of $20 to $50 for the entire crew is also appropriate. It is often best to give cash directly to each worker at the end of the job.

Consider tipping if the crew:

  • Goes above and beyond your expectations.

  • Handles heavy, bulky items or navigates difficult spaces like tight hallways or stairs.

  • Works in inclement weather or deals with potentially hazardous materials.

  • Takes extra care to protect your home and property.

  • Accommodates a last-minute scheduling change.

It’s possible to over-mulch leaves. If the leaf mulch is thick enough that it’s blocking and smothering the grass, that’s a problem. Ideally, you should still be able to see the grass when you’re done mulching to ensure its ability to continue growing. The solution is to make another pass at the top layer of leaf mulch to collect some of the top layer.

Yes, removal services can handle projects like estate clearouts or major renovations.
