"

Pat promptly responded to my inquiry for carpet cleaning.  The estimate for cleaning the carpet was very reasonable and Pat was able to schedule a date for services which worked for both of us. Received a reminder phone call from Pat the night before which I appreciated.  The next morning Jay gave me a 15 minute heads up phone call and was prompt in getting to my home. When he arrived, Jay explained the cleaning process and examined the carpet for any special cleaning needs. He then got to work.  Was very pleased that I had no soggy carpets when the work was done (as had occurred with prior cleaners) and was able to get everything back into place the next day.  The carpet looks great.

"I hired them for deep cleaning for first time $225 or $250-two woman were supposed to come but only one arrived as the other was sick. I would assume that deep cleaning meant mop boards but they were not done. Nothing removed from dresser or furniture. Basically it was no different than the 2 or 3 times she came after. She spent 2 1/2 hours on the deep cleaning so the agency made out well that day. I called and told owner that my son was no longer able to pay didn't want to get the girl in trouble. I feel that on the deep cleaning when a girl was sick the owner could have stepped in or found someone. bad first impression. When she called to check I said all OK to protect the girl cleaning. I am now going through an individual who works independently and find I can ask them to do something and they don't need to check with anyone. Thank you for letting me vent-Carole 2833697"

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The recommended solution is to use a brand-name stain remover you trust in your machine. However, you can make an upholstery cleaning solution using a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and dish soap.

Because you likely don’t have the equipment to dry your oriental rug adequately, cleaning it with a hose or any deluge of water is a bad idea. The fibers of an oriental rug are especially dense, so water can cause damage like marking, fading, mold, and odor. Since sunlight can also fade an oriental rug, that’s not a good option for drying it to prevent damage.

They utilize high-grade disinfectants and follow rigorous protocols for germ and virus control.

While it may be possible to use a carpet cleaner on a couch, it is often not recommended and requires significant caution. Some carpet cleaners contain harsh or abrasive chemicals that are unsuitable for soft upholstery fabrics. To determine if it's safe, always check your couch's care tag, which dictates approved cleaning methods. If you decide to proceed, ensure the carpet cleaner has an upholstery attachment and that you are using a cleaning solution specifically designed for upholstery. It is also crucial to avoid oversaturating the fabric. Before cleaning the entire couch, always test the cleaner on a small, hidden area to check for potential damage or discoloration.

Hydrogen peroxide can be an effective stain remover for outdoor rugs. However, it is not recommended to use for cleaning the entire surface of the rug as it is a very strong substance. If you’re battling tough stains on an outdoor rug, you can use hydrogen peroxide diluted with some water and dish soap to treat the stained area directly.
