"Brian was at my house for 1 1/2 hours. I had called him to fix a toilet. While here, there were a few additional items that I had him do. His charge was $1,100. That included only $75 in parts! I told him I thought it was way to high. He was only here 1 1/2 hours. How can he possibly charge $1,100 for labor? His answer was that he doesn't go by the hour. He does everything on a project by project basis. I paid him, reluctantly."

Wait at least 48 hours before taking a shower in your newly painted bathroom. Even if the paint feels dry to the touch, it needs time to fully cure and resist the high humidity from a hot shower.
