$1,100
Brian was at my house for 1 1/2 hours. I had called him to fix a toilet. While here, there were a few additional items that I had him do. His charge was $1,100. That included only $75 in parts! I told him I thought it was way to high. He was only here 1 1/2 hours. How can he possibly charge $1,100 for labor? His answer was that he doesn't go by the hour. He does everything on a project by project basis. I paid him, reluctantly.

They show commitment in their task and charge fairly for the same. It is my advice that everyone should try out their superb construction services.

I wanted to warn everyone of a terrible experience I am dealing with. On Oct 16th I hired Brian Demarco aka The Renovator to replace 2 windows for me. He told me he would start the following week. He also informed me that the size widow is back ordered for 6-8 weeks but that he could get one a bit smaller and make it work....well this was mistake one. I let him install the smaller window....needless to say it didn’t work. So I went to Home Depot and sure enough they had in stock the size I needed and told me they had it all along....so I bought the right size window and asked him to fix the issue and install the correct one which he demanded an extra $600 to do ...but since I was already vested I reluctantly agreed....I should have known then cause he when he installed the second window, which he had ordered, he had issues getting it to fit but finished job. I looked at the window and it looked like he installed some sort of plywood on the exterior. I asked him and he said no that’s just thin wood. Well it was def ply wood (pictures attached) and looked terrible it wasn’t flush, it was all chipped and cracked. So I called him next day to come out and fix it. He again tried to convince me it wasn’t plywood....long story short I called a few builders and carpenters I work with to take a look at it...they told me it was plywood and done all wrong....so I got one of them to fix it. In removing the plywood they found other pieces of wood that weren’t even nailed to the house (attached by tape) nails that were not galvanized (“he used nails for kitchen cabinets” said carpenter) and hollow spots. I asked Brian aka The Renovator to pay me back for the work I had to pay for in order to fix what he had did. I thought that was fair, that maybe he bit off more than he could chew....well he is refusing and keeps referring to his contract which says nothing about doing subpar work. I WANT TO WARN EVERYONE TO AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE. ****Side note it took him 6 weeks to do 2 windows and didn’t even do it right***
