"Brian came over very quickly after my initial call. We had damage to a window and to our dock after the serious storm that hit Greenwich, CT and other nearby areas last weekend. Brian was prompt, easy to talk to and gave us a very fair price for the work. Today the work was completed by Brian and two other men who assisted him, and everything they repaired/replaced looks better than it did before. I would recommend him to anyone and am glad I found a great company to hire for work we need done in the future."

"We used Westlyn and A 2 Z for a new Trex deck with a new above ground pool set. and incorporated it into the deck itself. We did not have specific plans, just an idea of how it could look. Westlyn worked with us the whole way addressing our concerns, and guiding his team to our final product, a lovely new pool and deck i cant wait to swim in!! they were professional , clean, and very helpful as we ran into little glitches here and there as all projects do, and solved them quickly. the only problem we had was waiting at different times due to the pandemic, obviously this is out of his control. we would definitely refer him to others, the work exceeded expectations and was within budget."

"We needed this repair done quickly, and Noel delivered. He responded with a visit same day as the initial call, provided an estimate for the work later that evening, and was on the job at 8:00 am the following morning. I was very impressed with the level of care and attention to detail. Plastic was hung all round the job site and cleanup was thorough. Noel even obtained more of the correct paint when what we had on hand proved to be insufficient to cover the affected area. The job took the whole day, primarily because of having to wait for drywall compound to dry and then the paint primer to dry on a very humid day, but they had powerful fans to speed it up. The price was a bit more expensive than I'd have thought for a job of this size, but worth it for us given the speed and exceptionally high quality of the work overall. Noel was professional and responsive throughout. I will be calling Jarrett's Home Improvement and Noel for future needed work in our home."

"Dan and the Rafter team have done incredible work for our home with multiple projects, including a backup sump pump installation and building a custom door for an unused staircase (photo attached). It is incredibly hard to find a handy service that delivers on professionalism, fair price, reliability, and quality work. Can't recommend them enough!"

"Luckily, they had to come back because they left a ladder at my house. Martin Duran, I think the owner was great and professional on the phone. There were many touch-ups and areas that needed to be fixed and he assured me his guys would do it. It was all finished very well. This was my first time using a window cleaner, so I now know to look at each window carefully, especially the sills and tracks which many weren't cleaned. I do plan on using them again because of the owners responsiveness for customer satisfaction."

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

If your seedlings have reached a few inches in height and the weather outside has stabilized to where you’re no longer seeing overnight temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, it may be time to start hardening them off to get them ready to be planted in the garden.

Wood, metal, and plastic are common materials. Choose based on durability, aesthetics, and maintenance needs.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.

Whether an in-ground or a portable basketball hoop is better depends on the available space and its usage. For hoops that will experience frequent play, an in-ground basketball goal will be a more durable option. On the other hand, a portable basketball hoop can be the better option for smaller spaces that can’t have a permanent hoop installed.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.
