This license puts me ahead of most builders in CT. That is because in CT there is not a test or any requirements to get a contractors license. It is as simple as sending the state a fee of $220.00 and they send you a license, allowing just about anyone at all to be a contractor in CT. In MA they require at least 3 years of on the job experience and a 5 hour test.
