"Andrew Brown from Alarm Protection Group facilitated the installation of our home security system. He was a very helpful and informative, and was not pushy, as with other ADT sales reps. He followed up with us after the system was installed to see if we had any questions or concerns re the system. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is interested in a home security system."
"ADT’s security system is incredibly reliable and easy to use. The app is intuitive, and the home automation features are a game-changer. I love being able to monitor my home from anywhere. Great service all around!"
"For Security Systems, this is the place to go. Yes, I had ADP quote my project, but Modern Tech was by far the best option. Not only is it a local company, but the professionalize, value and price made it an easy decision, plus there was not a three year contract! Robert was the installer and he was fabulous at explaining options (personalized to what I needed) and how everything worked. He was also very responsive to the follow-up questions I had. I highly recommend using this company for your surveillance and alarm system needs."
"I was fortunate to discover Frontline when I investigated companies that could install security cameras at my Boulder,Colorado, office building. They were quick to respond to my inquiry, they did several walk-throughs to verify the job, and their installation was quick and without problems. Considering that we were a project with 20 cameras in a 4-story building plus exterior locations, the cost of their project was very reasonable. Plus, their products and technology are state of the art. I highly recommend Frontline for any company or residence that requires reliable, effective security camera protection."
"We moved down here a little over 4 months ago. We found Colorado Complete Security n HomeAdvisor. Stuart and Matt really know there stuff. They let us know the day before they were coming, they were on time, explained what they were doing, gave us ideas on things we could do different in the house, very personable. We re definitely having them back to do some upgrading on some outdated things and things done a little Mickey . We had them fix our phone lines because we found out we didn t have a working land line. They also do surround sound, internet, security, etc... I would give them over a 5 star rating if there was such a thing. Doug and Kathy"

"I called two Electricians from Angie's List on Saturday, March 2, 2013, and did not feel comfortable with their responses after I explained that my circuit breaker tripped and I lost power on one side of my master bedroom and bathroom. I called DR Electric on Monday morning, March 4, 2013, and explained my problem. Tony informed me that Rick who is the Master Electrician could be at my home the same morning between 10:00 am and 12 noon. When Rick arrived at 10:00 am, he was very thorough with explaining and repairing the problem, which he did not charge for the service. In addition, my fire alarm system went off twice within 1 month, which I had to called the fire department to check and see if there was a carbon monoxide problem. When the fire department is called for carbon monoxide, the utilities company must also come to the house to check for carbon monoxide. The Utilities company informed me that the duel fire and carbon monoxide alarms are very sensitive and they had responded to numerous carbon monoxide false alarms in the area. The Utilities company recommended that I separate the fire alarms and have a carbon monoxide alarm on each floor. The utilities company also recommended which fire and carbon monoxide alarms to purchase. In addition, the area which I live there has been several homes which has been struck by lighting so I was interested in the whole house power surge. Rick explained how the whole house surge protector works along with the different systems and warranties. On Wednesday, March 6, 2013, Rick installed the whole house surge protector; Tony replaced my fire alarm system and placed the carbon monoxide on each floor . They both explained the work they completed and was very professional. I would definitely hire this company again for other electric work. I do plan on having some other electrical work done in the future. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors. "
"Kell installed LVP in both the master bedroom and bathroom of a house we recently purchased. He did an excellent job and worked hard to finish the work done early so we could move into our new home before our lease was up. The entire process was straightforward and clear, from the initial consultation and estimate to the final walkthrough and payment. Trevor gave me the initial estimate and updated the estimate when our priorities and budget changed. Kell was a pleasure to work with. It was nice to have him in our home. He's friendly and knowledgeable. When an issue with the subfloor required additional work, Kell made sure I knew how much it would cost to repair. He also gave me the option to pick up the materials he needed so I could avoid the markup Cransten would charge if he picked up the materials. This was clearly explained before, so I wasn't blindsided and could decide which option would be best for me. It was a fantastic experience all around!"
Home Security Systems questions, answered by experts
Yes, it's possible for hackers to access wireless security cameras by guessing or stealing passwords. Additionally, your camera's cloud content can also be hacked. Finally, some criminals use Wi-Fi signal jammers to disable wireless cameras.
Your best bet is to install a bracket that secures to the bottom of the unit and the side of your house. You should still secure the AC unit in the open window using some of the other methods already listed, but a bracket is best to ensure that it stays put—both during operation and in case of an attempted theft.
Professional home automation services can include automation for nearly anything in your home, so the possibilities are endless. Some of the more common things homeowners use automation for include the following:
Door and window sensors to detect opening, closing, and break-ins
Solar system automation to maximize energy savings
Automatic door locks
Garage door openers
Speaker systems
Lighting
Appliances
Smoke and CO detectors
Blinds and other window coverings
Lawn irrigation systems
Water monitoring
The biggest downside to a wireless security camera is that it's 100% reliant on Wi-Fi to capture footage at your home. Even when Wi-Fi is reliable, the range for wireless cameras may only be 200 feet or less. Drywall, brick, and other materials in your home can be enough to make your signal lag.
