They let us know the day before they were coming, they were on time, explained what they were doing, gave us ideas on things we could do different in the house, very personable. We re definitely having them back to do some upgrading on some outdated things and things done a little Mickey . We had them fix our phone lines because we found out we didn t have a working land line. They also do surround sound, internet, security, etc... "I called two Electricians from Angie's List on Saturday, March 2, 2013, and did not feel comfortable with their responses after I explained that my circuit breaker tripped and I lost power on one side of my master bedroom and bathroom. I called DR Electric on Monday morning, March 4, 2013, and explained my problem.  Tony informed me that Rick who is the Master Electrician could be at my home the same morning between 10:00 am and 12 noon.  When Rick arrived at 10:00 am, he was very thorough with explaining and repairing the problem, which he did not charge for the service.  In addition, my fire alarm system went off twice within 1 month, which I had to called the fire department to check and see if there was a carbon monoxide problem.  When the fire department is called for carbon monoxide, the utilities company must also come to the house to check for carbon monoxide. The Utilities company informed me that the duel fire and carbon monoxide alarms are very sensitive and they had responded to numerous carbon monoxide false alarms in the area.  The Utilities company recommended that I separate the fire alarms and have a carbon monoxide alarm on each floor. The utilities company also recommended which fire and carbon monoxide alarms to purchase.   In addition, the area which I live there has been several homes which has been struck by lighting so I was interested in the whole house power surge. Rick explained how the whole house surge protector works along with the different systems and warranties.  On Wednesday, March 6, 2013, Rick installed the whole house surge protector; Tony replaced my fire alarm system and placed the carbon monoxide on each floor .  They both explained the work they completed and was very professional.  I would definitely hire this company again for other electric work. I do plan on having some other electrical work done in the future.  I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

He did an excellent job and worked hard to finish the work done early so we could move into our new home before our lease was up. The entire process was straightforward and clear, from the initial consultation and estimate to the final walkthrough and payment. Trevor gave me the initial estimate and updated the estimate when our priorities and budget changed. Kell was a pleasure to work with. It was nice to have him in our home. He's friendly and knowledgeable. When an issue with the subfloor required additional work, Kell made sure I knew how much it would cost to repair. He also gave me the option to pick up the materials he needed so I could avoid the markup Cransten would charge if he picked up the materials. This was clearly explained before, so I wasn't blindsided and could decide which option would be best for me. It was a fantastic experience all around!"
