"I was referred here from a family member for a laundry list of electrical I needed done. They installed can lights all around my home, added some outlets and ran a circuit for my hot tub. If you need an electrician, you can stop your search here!"

Our eight year old Whirlpool washer began showing Error Code F35 and would not function.  I called ProServ and arranged for an appointment the next day.  The serviceman arrived promptly and was quickly able to find the cause of the problem -- a faulty pressure sensor.  Unfortunately, this was not a part stocked locally, and so it had to be ordered from a distribution center.  The new sensor arrived two days later, and was installed the same day.  Voila, the washer was fixed!

Regarding pricing: the initial diagnosis was $50; the part (which cost less than a dollar to make) cost $132; the remaining repair charge was $108.  Given that the serviceman needed to make two trips, I think ProServ's labor charge was fair.  I checked online the price of the Whirlpool genuine replacement part, and that cost was simply passed along to me with a negligible, if any, mark up.

I gave ProServ the highest possible positive review because the company earned it.  ProServ was quick in its response, diagnosed and fixed the problem as rapidly as practicable, and was fair in its pricing.

I will use this company again.

"The company was able to adjust their schedule to meet my request. They were very professional and brought a large enough crew to finish my fence installation in one day. I would highly recommend this company and look forward to hiring them in the future."

"We are thrilled with our new basement! High-Quality Construction took it from concrete and spiders and turned it into two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchenette, and a theater! The quality is great and everything looks amazing. Communication was great throughout the whole process, and all our questions were always quickly addressed. They also did some other projects throughout the house- installing a new patio door and adding a wall to turn an open loft into an office. Not only does everything look great, but they went out of their way to make sure they did the work upstairs at times when my son wasn’t napping. That meant a lot! Overall I would absolutely recommend this company for any of your constructions needs!"

"The workman did a wonderful job. When confronted with an issue that they were not expecting, they quickly adapted the plan and installed the awning in a different way, that is even better. I would totally hire these gentlemen again. Really professional!"

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

For a 10-by-10-foot room, you’ll usually need between four and six recessed lights. However, this is a general figure because each space is different. In addition to your room’s square footage, it’s also important to consider other factors, like the purpose of the recessed lights. If they’ll serve as ambient lighting, you’ll need more lights than you would if you were using them for accent lighting.

The housing for high-quality recessed lighting can last a lifetime. But how long the bulbs last depends on the type you choose. LED lights are the most common and tend to last the longest, often 30,000 to 40,000 hours. Compare that to incandescent bulbs, which only last for 1,000 hours or so.

Yes, it is possible to hang a chandelier without wiring, but it depends on the design of both the chandelier and your ceiling. Many homeowners use plug-in pendant lights, adhesive hook and cord pendants, or nonelectrical light sources to hang a chandelier without wiring.

Depending on your preference, a 100W bulb could be too bright for a bedroom. Most people prefer softer, relaxing bedroom lighting using a lower wattage bulb, around 40W to 60W for incandescent or the equivalent in LED (around 450 to 800 lumens). For adjustable brightness, consider using dimmable bulbs or layered lighting with bedside lamps and overhead lights to create a comfortable and versatile lighting environment.

There are few disadvantages to LED bulbs when compared to incandescent, but that isn’t to say they are perfect. Cooler LED lights emit an enormous amount of blue light. This can affect people with certain conditions and has been known to mess with your circadian rhythm. LEDs can also overheat, are prone to flicker, and may not be consistent in color across all bulbs in a pack
