"PLC did a great job. It took longer because of the time of year (end of March) I started the project but the guys were great and professional. I would hire again. There were a couple snow days in that time frame. The backyard looks great and I couldn't be happier"

You should also plan out the best time to plant your grass based on its type and your location to ensure it grows well. So, if you want your grass to grow successfully, put more time and effort into the project than throwing seed on the ground.

Even the most shade-tolerant turf grass needs at least three or four hours of full sunlight or a good amount of partial sunlight throughout the day. You might want to look at other gardening options for full shade, like plants that can survive in full shade, hardscaping, or structural architecture, to still get that yard of your dreams without compromising on your landscaping design.
