We are a general maintenance and property repair company. We also run a management company that maintains approximately 500 rental units. We have a fully staffed office including an office manager, assistance manager, business manager, subcontractor manager, and we have many handymen and repair workers to fix your property. We are fully insured and bonded. We provide free bids on larger repairs and we bill smaller jobs at $50/hour.

"It went excellent! The results turned out better than I expected. Dave went the extra mile to explain and go along with me in my needs for this repair and the effect in the future remodel of the basement. He made suggestions of some of areas that I had major concerns about. It was a great thinktank session. I was very satisfied with his answers and gave him the contract right there. I have multiple properties and will hire him again when the need arises. The price was very nice too and am glad I paid. Well worth it. The house is back to performance and the tenants are very happy."

"What a nightmare! We had hired Pedro for several projects and they were always done well, with no complaints. So, we didn't hesitate to contact him when we needed a new sewer line. From the moment he was paid (the full $11,188), we felt uneasy. He did show us what he was planning on doing, but the first few times he came back he always had a new idea, but we weren't to worry because he wasn't going to charge us anything more. He made it clear every time he did show up, he was waiting on his money. There was a problem with the third party app he uses for charges and they put a hold on our funds. He accused us of having something to do with what had happened. Thank goodness we put the full amount on our charge card, because he walked off the job. When I tried to contact him he made several outrageous claims - that we had fired him, kicked him off our property, and we had attack dogs (we don't). Not only were we out the money we paid him, but we had to hire a new plumber to put the line in. The plumber we hired was dumbfounded when he saw the work Pedro had done and how much he charged us for the new sewer line. Unfortunately, we had to pay to have his work repaired, as it wasn't needed, as well as pay again to have the sewer line installed. We actually had several plumbers come out to give us estimates and they all were shocked at the work that had been done, and the amount we had been charged. We were very lucky the company that ultimately did the job was honest, and we paid less than $5,000, for everything."

"I don't really ever write reviews unless there are big issues. I have been using Proactive sewer drain for years for my clients and their properties and they used to be good. New ownership? I have no idea what's going on. I just used they them for my personal home and they have been an absolute nightmare. They got the insurance pay out, since have ghosted me and won't come back to fix anything that they messed up and now I have a sinkhole in my yard. They removed my fence and then didn't put back the trim to stop rocks from rolling out. They didn't put back all the Flagstone, so I have a random piece in my yard. That was never put back. They poured the concrete and didn't remove the wooden slats in two areas. I messaged/called them multiple times, took about two months to get them back out. The wooden slats were causing water to build up on walkway that would then freeze and turn into an ice-skating rink-death trap. They put the clean out in the middle of my yard instead of somewhere that makes sense down by the sidewalk. Didn't consult me on a preference of location, just stuck it there and now there is a sinkhole in my yard because they were supposed to come back and put in new sod and fix the sprinklers and they never did. When they were installing it, I asked him to stop and put it somewhere else down by the sidewalk. He confirmed that he could have put the clean out there, and avoided, ripping up any sprinklers or sod but it was too late since they already started. I can't get them to come back and now everything in the ground is shifting and they can't tell me if that's normal or not. I was on the schedule twice last month and they just no call no showed, I keep emailing and calling and getting back on the schedule and then they just don't show up or reply to my emails. I have asked for an owner or someone to call me, maybe this review will get to the right person and someone will call me back. Help!"
