Later they said they would deliver the correct sofa the following day; Tuesday. They said it would be delivered between 9 and 1:00 however the assembly men would have to be called after the delivery. Later we received information that the delivery and assembly would happen at the same time. Today we waited all day for a delivery after receiving robo calls saying delivery would happen between 9 and 1. More phone calls and we received a call telling us to call another person locally. She was no help, very rude and with a go to h*** attitude toward a very upset customer. She told me I would have to come to the store for a refund as the overcharged me. She said the delivery would be made sometime tomorrow. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. They have no regard for the customer nor do they really making an effort to correct a problem they created. We still do not have the correct item. They will not give us a time for delivery tomorrow. I will never never buy another item for this non customer accommodating store.They did not acknowledge their mistake. The delivery people were great. The Ikea staff did not listen, talked back and generally offered no solution for the problem. Go some place else if you want to buy larger items requiring home delivery. It is not worth what you think you will save by using them instead of another Houston furniture store. Alex was the most expensive out of the three so for some odd reason I decided to go with him. I was going to be out of town during the time frame he wanted to start. I gave him permission to enter my backyard and start the project and left him the down payment in my grill outside. I returned a week later and NOTHING had been done and my check was still in the grill. When Alex finally decided to show up, his appearance lacked professionalism to say the least. He showed up to my house in shorts, a tank top and wearing socks and sandals. The 4x4 support post were put in. My first concern was when they attached the cross beam to my post. Instead of attaching the beam on top of the post, they attached it to the side with NAILS! I voiced my concern with this and he gave me a bunch of BS as to why the beam could not go on top of the post. My second concern was the way the rafters were attached to my existing roof. They could not be attached to the end of the roof due to height restrictions. Therefore the rafters were required to go 4 feet up my existing roof. A 2x8 was attached flat to my existing roof. The rafters were then cut at an angle and attached to the 2x8. My concern was only about 2 inches of the rafter was laying on the 2x8. Again I was assured this was "structurally sound". After the project was "compete", I noticed several flaws in craftsmanship. Nail that were too long were hammered down at the end. Rafters were cut differently, not one rafter was alike. All in all it looked horrible. At this point I just wanted them gone, so I paid them and sent them on their way. 2 years later one of the support post is cracking in half due to the way the weight is bearing down on the post. This problem is from the beam not being attached on top of the post. I called Alex to voice my concerns. After all...his work is "guaranteed". It took Alex 2 weeks to come out. Surprisingly he sees no problems and refused to fix anything. Going back to the beginning, I was told by Alex that I did not need a permit. I take full responsibility being naive and believing this. Come to find out, a permit was needed and will need to be obtained when the structure is repaired. By the way....the way the structure was built by Alex will not pass city code.... We called for service and this company replaced the pump assembly on 8/18/11. Within two weeks the dishwasher stopped working. We called for service over 10 times and despite dealing with several different people the dishwasher was never repaired. There were two separate dates I took off work for service calls and the repair tech did not show and did not call. After one of these no shows, upon calling the company the phone representative informed us the \"repair ticket\" had been closed as the dishwasher was \"repaired\". At another time, upon calling the phone representative informed us it was our responsibility to contact the manufacturer of the dishwasher to ensure warranty coverage for the dishwasher. When we called the manufacturer, they assured us that that was not the case. Ultimately, on December 29, 2011 the manufacturer referred us to a different repair service in order to get this machine repaired. Over four months and they never did fix it."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/co/grand-junction/brand-source-appliance-service-and-repair-reviews-5991274.htm"},"position":9}]}

FAQs for grill assembly projects in Grand Junction, CO
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
The cost of a gas grill burner ranges from $10 to $100 or more, depending on the brand. If you’re replacing one burner, consider replacing all the burners simultaneously. Although it will cost more upfront, it will save you the hassle of replacing a burner every few months, and your grill will cook more evenly and efficiently.
If your grill is relatively new or under warranty, it’s worth fixing. If the warranty has run out, find the cost of parts (usually a burner or grate that’s rusted out). If the parts cost more than half the price of a new grill, it’s worth buying a new one.
However, if your gas grill is a built-in unit as part of an outdoor kitchen, contact the grill manufacturer or distributor to check on warranty coverage. You should also contact a local gas grill repair technician to get an estimate for repairs or a price to replace your built-in grill.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. Most grill manufacturers offer an extended warranty, varying in coverage and terms. You can help extend the life of your grill by cleaning it inside and out to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits. Protect your gas grill from the elements with a grill cover to prevent it from rusting, lessening the frequency of repairs.
