The job was completed on time and within the quoted budget.  Douglas Electric was prompt, courteous and professional.  We felt confident in the safety of their work, and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Everything was done and completed on time and they were very professional.

They were responsive, on time, gave good suggestions, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. What else could you want?

No problems. Doug and I left voice mail messages over perhaps 3 days before we were able to talk in person. He came out and visibly inspected the damaged riser the next day and gave me a verbal estimate of $850 by phone. I did not receive a written estimate. We decided to go with this company because we have such good experiences with highly rated Angie's list companies.

We have worked with Doug in the past, and he does an excellent job. He initially told me he only replaces entire buzzer systems but agreed to come out anyway to see if he could fix ours. He ordered and replaced the amp and re-wired some of the faulty wiring to get our system working again. I did have to contact him a couple of times to remind him to come out to take a look because he was always driving an couldn't write down my info, but he gave me his email address, so I just emailed him. I was willing to take an extra step because I know the quality work he does. He is a little pricey, but if you want to get a quality job from a reputable company, I would highly recommend Doug.

They were very good. They exceeded our expectations; they were extremely good. They did excellent work and they had excellent service. They were very reliable, they did everything right, they were very nice to work with, and they showed up on time. They were pleasant and competent. I would recommend them to anybody. We got other bids so we knew what the price should be, and they were definitely fair. They weren?t way under or way over; they were somewhere in the middle. They definitely knew what they were doing. I would absolutely use them again.

Doug was great - prompt, professional, and gave great advice to us as new homeowners about what needed to be done to make sure our house was safe. He suggested other ideas (like adding an outside GFCI outlet to the front of the house) that were very helpful, but without being pushy. Of all the various contractors and services we had to use when we first bought our house, Doug and his men were the most professional and great to work with. His rates were very reasonable as well.

Doug came out to give me an estimate, and walked through the home with me, answering a number of questions I had about electrical-related matters and our 1905 house. He provided me with an estimate, which was the cost of the repairs. The 2-man crew showed up on time, and although they took an early lunch for an hour or so, they worked solid, checking wiring throughout the house as they went along. Both were very courteous and professional. I plan on using them again.

As usual these guys are great. Doug met us in the evening to do the estimate. We felt comfortable leaving the two electricians alone in the house unattended for a couple of days. Doug's guy Richard installed new can lights for us a few years ago and was back to do this job. He's very respectful of the fact he's in someone's home so it was nice to see him again.

Contacted company, spoke to Doug (owner). Came to review work needed. Sent proposal. Called him back to come to my home to discuss layout with siding company boss and he agreed. He and siding boss discussed coordinating how outside work need to be done. Decided to sign contract with his company. Each day I spoke with Doug and the forman and worker. When necessary, asked me how/what I needed so work would be done correctly.

They came out quickly to investigate some bad wiring and took care of it easily.

They were thorough and on time. It was difficult to get in touch with them, but once we did connect, everything was very easy. They were very good once things started. They came out promptly for the initial bid, but the second time was difficult. It was a good experience and their prices were reasonable. I would use them again and recommend them.

Doug returned my call promptly and was on time for the site visit. I showed him what I wanted to do and he gave me a couple of options on how to proceed.I had the estimate in a email 3 days after his site visit and we were able to come to a final bid over the phone,the work was scheduled to start one week later. His crew showed up on time and were professional . Richard, the crew head had a much better idea on how to route the power into the basement then either Doug or I had. The job took about as long as expected and the crew did a good job of cleaning up after themselves and took the time to label the breakers in my new panel.

It was difficult to actually get them to come out (I sent emails and got no response; I called and was told I'd receive a call the following week when they were back from vacation, but I had to make the follow-up call myself) which was annoying, but once they came out they were very professional and the price, I thought, was fair. The electrician gave me some good advice (noting that some work would need to be done in the future, but not pressing me to have it done now, or by them) and did some additional jobs I hadn't asked for in my initial request. I would use them again.

I was pleased with the work that was preformed and the price was fair too. He came on time, did what he said getting the job done. At the time, I was trying to sell my house and his timeliness was important.

More work than we expected to do, but high quality work done promptly by professionals.

I had some flooding in my sunroom and the electrical went out. He came and re-wired part of the electrical in my sunroom. The light in the living room was also affected, and he fixed it as well. I also had an outlet in the kitchen that had not worked for about a year, and he replaced it. Richard was the name of the person who came, and did the job. He was very nice, professional, and did a very good job. I referred them to a friend of mine.

prompt, clean, effecient-a can do attitude rather than the usual-gee I don't think I can do that came back a week later because one outlet didn't work (owner error) exactly the type of service you would hope for
