"Five Star Bath Solutions of Fort Collins just finished our hall bathroom remodel and I'm still a little shocked at how different it looks. Their crew was friendly and efficient ? he replaced a pedestal sink with a two-drawer vanity that finally gave us storage, swapped the dated brass fixtures for matte black, and retiled the floor with a classic black-and-white hex pattern. The whole job came in at the quoted price and was done in two days. We're off Timberline Rd and I've recommended them to everyone on our street."

"I needed my old water lines in my house removed and have new water lines installed. I contacted no limits plumbing and drains, they were fantastic! Gave me a fair price and were willing to work with my schedule. Got the job done in one day! I was amazed! They tested everything and no leaks. Great experience and professional!"

"We worked with Dylan on a number of house projects, beginning with a full bathroom remodel. We also had him hang new doors throughout the house and build/install a customer island in a tight kitchen. He has an eye for finish details that tend to be ignored, and we were extremely pleased with the finished products on the entire project."

"I used this company to fix a leaky pipe in my basement and he did such a good job that I also had him service my boiler. I usually do my own repairs at my house but I did not want to risk having a water line break and flood my basement. Will definitely use again."

"Jesse replaced my main water shutoff valve with a ball valve and re-did PVC piping out of my main sprinkler back-flow that was leaking due to ground movement. He completed both within an hour and was considerably more affordable than two other contractors. I would definitely hire him again."

"Tyson Hoff and Derrick were great! No BS, straight forward all inclusive price and was as much as HALF of some other estimates that we got?!? For the exact same work. Brandon came out and did the work, was on time, professional, efficient and took the time to explain everything before and after the work was done, ask me of the options where I wanted the system and made the exhaust the way I wanted it NOT just whatever he wanted to do!! I would highly recommend this company for any of your radon mitigation needs!! Best price, quality products, professional service... start to finish and a commitment to stand behind there work! Even gave us a test kit to check the radon levels in thirty days by a third party lab and if there is any issue they will come back out and make it right!! Henry Jameson"

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

It can be safe to live in a house with asbestos as long as the asbestos-containing materials are intact, in good condition, and not disturbed. Asbestos becomes dangerous only when its fibers are released into the air, which happens if the material is damaged, crumbling, or disturbed during renovation work. If you suspect asbestos is present, do not disturb it. Instead of removal, materials in good condition can sometimes be encapsulated. It is recommended to have regular professional inspections to monitor the condition of the asbestos and prevent health risks from potential exposure.

Unlike some home problems, such as water damage or pest infestations, asbestos can be very difficult to spot. Asbestos is a mineral in the form of microscopic fibers and was previously used in building materials for its bonding and fireproofing abilities. Insulation, roof shingles, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, pipe wrappings, soundproofing materials, and textured paint features like popcorn ceilings are common sources of asbestos, particularly in homes built before 1980.

Age is perhaps the biggest indicator of asbestos, as legislation passed in the 1970s labeled asbestos as dangerous and regulated its use in building materials. Signs of age in the form of wear and tear or material degradation are also indicators that asbestos fibers may be leaking into the air, but ultimately, it’s difficult to detect with the naked eye. If you have reason to suspect asbestos in your home, it’s best to hire a certified asbestos inspector.

Asbestos was most commonly produced and integrated into building products from the 1920s to the late 1980s. In reality, asbestos use should have ceased much sooner because asbestos was linked to cancer in studies produced as early as the 1950s. You can even extend that number past the 1980s due to stockpiled materials and because some countries treat asbestos use differently. It may also be found more in commercial applications than residential.

Older textures may contain asbestos, requiring careful handling and professional inspection before work begins to ensure safety compliance.

If asbestos is found, it is crucial to consult with a professional. They will provide recommendations for appropriate abatement actions, which may include safe removal, containment, sealing, or enclosure. All actions must be planned and executed in accordance with local regulations for handling asbestos.
