Small jobs welcome

"No Limits Plumbing and Drains was awesome. It is a small company with the latest tools and equipment, ready to give you personal attention to your needs. Run by Joe and Marco, they do an excellent job of meeting your plumbing requirements at a reasonable price. I cannot speak highly enough of their friendliness, professionalism. work ethic, and downright helpfulness. They seem to do it all, so if you have plumbing needs from a toilet install to a main line drain repair (in my case) call these fellows and they will do a great job at a good value. Call them!"

"Ty was on time and very considerate. The cost of a new toilet was high, but that's not his fault. He did a good job, scheduled the work at the first phone call, and answered all my questions. He was also responsive to all my texts afterwards when the receipt wouldn't come through on my email and got the problem fixed."

"This guy is AWESOME. We got Jay in for a fairly simple plumbing job in the new bathroom, then we decided we wanted to get some new toilets, Jay said yes of course and it was done I also asked for new gas line no problem he said fixed. Then we asked him to fit three new vanities which she did efficiently and finally we asked the impossible about the new shower extending it out and he found a way. What can I say he did everything asked at a price that was very good he was an awful lot cheaper than the big boys because he doesn't have the overheads but I guarantee this guy gives you everything you ask for with a smile thank you Jay we will be using you again"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

After flushing the toilet, you should have about half a tank full of water. While the exact amount of water you’ll have will vary, you want to make sure you have enough to cover the bottom of the bowl and enough to sit above the P-trap drain. While low water in your toilet bowl can indicate a problem, too much water can also be cause for concern.

Toilets typically connect to your main vent stack, a vertical pipe that runs through all finished levels of your home and exits through the roof. It’s located behind the walls, but if you have an unfinished basement or a utility closet, you may find a portion of it running the vertical length of the space. Some basement toilets use an air admittance valve instead, which is a small vent located in the wall directly behind the toilet that extends upward a few feet from the drain.

You can pour bleach down the toilet as long as you dilute it since undiluted bleach can damage your toilet bowl. If you choose to use bleach to remove stains from your toilet, mix every cup of bleach with a gallon of water. You should also follow safety precautions when using bleach, like working in a well-ventilated area, wearing gloves, and never mixing it with any other cleaner.

You’ll likely pay between $300 and $450 to unclog your toilet with Roto-Rooter. However, the price could change depending on if the clog has caused a lot of damage, which your plumbing pro will want to inspect during your service appointment. Keep in mind that you won’t get a quote from Roto-Rooter over the phone. They have to send a pro out for an in-person cost estimate. You can also attempt to snake your own clog for a lot less, and simple drain snakes cost no more than $50.

Most codes require 15 inches on either side of the toilet's centerline (from the wall or vanity) and at least 21 to 24 inches between the toilet and the wall in front of it. These codes ensure that your toilet is easy to use and access, even in small bathrooms. Check your local building codes for the exact measurements required.
