"Peter and his crew overlaid the asphalt in a parking lot at the new location of the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls & Toys at 830 Kipling. Peter and his crew did an amazing job. The parking lot was in very bad shape. But they removed damaged asphalt, milled it down, filled holes, dealt with Kipling traffic and overlaid the asphalt; blending it into the sidewalks and adjacent patio. They completed this efficiently and carefully. Stop by and take a look. I highly recommend 5280 SealCoating for all your paving needs!"

Customers say: True professional

"Masonry D Services responded to my request for information almost immediately. Manny scheduled an on-site review and estimate the same day. He and his crew were here on the agreed upon date, bright and early. Manny was able to take a somewhat vague idea and translate it into a beautiful design. His personal attention to detail and high quality standards, provided us with an incredible patio and matching front porch. The team were hard-working, knowledgeable, polite, and they kept the area picked up as they worked. They did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend MDS and will use their services again."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Heated driveways cost an average of $12 to $25 per square foot. Depending on the size of your driveway, you may pay between $3,500 to $25,000 in total. Several factors can affect your bottom line, including material, labor, and system types. Investing in a heated driveway can save on snow removal costs because it will automatically melt the snow that falls on your driveway.

Outdoor kitchens get wet and are sometimes next to pools. To avoid accidents, go with a non-slip material like concrete, brick, or rubber. Avoid materials like ceramic and porcelain, as they are known to be quite slippery. Wood and composite flooring can be slippery if untreated, so make sure to stain or finish these materials.

Costs range from $3 to $7 per square foot, depending on the area size and project scope.

The best ways to increase the lifespan of your driveway are to carry out proper maintenance and get repairs done quickly. First, reseal your driveway every one to three years to protect it from the elements. If you start to notice significant cracks, hire a professional to diagnose the problem before it gets more serious. You can also use sand instead of salt when de-icing your driveway (since salt is corrosive) and clean your driveway annually using a pressure washer to keep it in tip-top shape.

The driveway apron is a technical term referring to where a private driveway meets the public street. If there is a sidewalk in front of the house, the driveway apron is typically on the opposite side of the public sidewalk from the driveway itself.
