"Jesse was very friendly and professional and helped me with two different window panes that needed new glass. He was communicative and punctual throughout the process and went out of his way to help me out. I will certainly be using his services again in the future!"

"Windows are good. Work was sloppy. Still finding shards of glass on the floor and the furniture a week after completion. Caulking looks like a third grader did it- including caulking the screen door to the frame. For this type of investment, they should act like professionals."

Customers say: Quick response

"Dave and his crew are super friendly, super outgoing, and very professional. Dave will listen to your suggestions and give his professional ideas for a refined end result. Dave and his crew built us a beautiful 14'x14' pergola on our back deck that gets sun year-round. Living East of Co Springs with full south and west exposure we get a lot of wind. Trying to keep a patio set with a freestanding umbrella for shade was near impossible. With this beautiful pergola and privacy wall, Dave and his crew built, we attached a windsail and some Edison lights. Now we can enjoy our patio for longer than 15 minutes without worrying about getting a sunburn. It's like Dave added another room to our house! Thank you, Dave and crew! It was a pleasure working with you guys! I look forward to working with you again on our next big project we are looking to tackle! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

You can use a commercial water repellent treatment for glass on your shower doors to prevent water spots. Take care to only apply the product to glass. Letting air circulate also helps prevent water spots, as water is less likely to remain on the glass for a long time with good air circulation. Run your vent fan, open a window, and leave the shower door open for about half an hour after using the shower.

Yes, you can hire someone to hang a mirror in your home if you’re unable to tackle the job yourself. You can search for nearby mirror installers, but often, your best bet is a local handyperson. If you’re having other work done in the same room, such as plumbing, drywall, or electrical, those contractors are likely able to help hang the mirror as well—no need to hire someone else.

Prior to the middle part of the 1900s, glass manufacturers used a technique that involved blowing glass into cylinder shapes that were then flattened out to create sheets used for windows and doors. This technique often left behind ripples and inconsistencies in the glass.

White vinegar, water, and baking soda create a natural cleaning solution that is highly effective against brown stains on the oven door. Mix one cup of baking soda, one-fourth cup of water, and one teaspoon of vinegar into a paste. Spread it evenly onto the oven glass and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then, scrape the mixture off with a plastic spatula. Wipe the glass with white vinegar to remove any remaining baking soda.

Distilled white vinegar removes stickers from glass by breaking down the adhesive with its acidic qualities. You can apply the vinegar to the area with a sponge or cleaning cloth. Let it sit for 10 to 20 minutes, and then scrape the area with a plastic scraper or the edge of a credit card.
