"We had a challenging and highly technical 12x16 TREX deck re-leveling (repair) and refinish project that some other contractors declined to take on or quoted me absolutely ridiculous amounts. After moving a header board and re-leveling the joists, the TREX was completely removed and replaced with a new color scheme and new TREX railings with cocktail rail. After a miscommunication with a local TREX deck supply company resulting in a minor delay due to the unique color combination, the final product was worth the wait. The actual construction time was very reasonable and much less than the month. The final cost was a little higher than the original quote, but not out of the question due to the additional framing, header, and deck board installs work required to build the deck as I envisioned it.
