Fence repair was done, and the stain on my deck was peeling. It was sanded off and new stain put on. Did a good job. Very efficient. Would hire again

Viking Deck was indeed a blessing! Jason responded quickly with his personalized quote that included labor, materials and debris removal. He showed up on time and diligently worked until the project was finished. Jason was courteous and attentive to homeowner needs. It was discovered that a few joist areas needed extra support and he provided a competitive price for add-on and completed that work on spot. His helper was a no show due to illness so the project took twice as long. However, I would definitely recommend Viking Deck.

Satisfied with the leveling part of the job. The staining of the deck is what I am not satisfied with. The contract stated, " your price to restore and stain the interior deck and exterior lower half will be approximately 1,200$" I walked around the deck when he said he was done. The exterior was done and I didn't see the inside because I didn't want to walk on it because it was still wet. The next day, I went out and noticed the interior deck floor was stained but the walls and doors were not. He told me that the deck would look new but it looks unfinished as some of the wood is stained and some is not. He called Saturday for payment and I asked him about the incomplete work. He stated that the contract stated bottom half exterior and not the inside. I asked him how much he would charge us to finish and he wanted another $600. Told him no.

"(Name Removed) as we did the initial walkthrough of the project, we both agreed that the interior walls were in good shape and treating them was not necessary. I am 100% positive of this fact. That is why I did not include it in the contract. The contract would have been much more money and I would have made a better profit so what reason would I have not to include it? The contract states interior deck, and exterior lower half. Deck does not mean walls. That would be considered a patio cover. After I completed the job, you were very happy and we had a great chat after. I understand that you may be upset that the walls were not included, but that is not what you and I agreed upon. I did exactly what we planned to do."

Never ever hire this guy. Seriously, don’t do it. We hired him to replace the porch at our house and he ensured us he would do a thorough and excellent job. That was a lie. Not only did he cut corners and use substandard and shoddy materials, but not even a year later the wood is completely warped, the nails are coming out and the sealant peeled away like the skin of a rotten fruit. When we tried to contact him to express these concerns he was nowhere to be found. Turns out he skipped town and won’t honor his previous claims. Now we are going to be out thousands of dollars getting the deck replaced again. We treated him and his workers like family, cooking for them and even baking a cake especially for them when the job was done. Extremely disappointed. If I could give negative stars here I would.

"Saleem, I am very sorry to read this review. As discussed before you signed the quote, we used the standard decking material used in most residential homes in your area. You agreed to this material before you signed the quote. It is Douglas fir prime kiln dried. There is nothing wrong with that material. You also mentioned nails, we do not use any nails whatsoever in our builds. We only use screws. I am very sorry you are not happy with your product but as we completed it you said everything looked excellent. Wood does like to shrink and move occasionally and I expressed that notion to you whilst you were deciding on using wood over composit"

I literally thought Jason was professional, and great. Not so much. He left the Denver area, and does not care about the crap ; deck for over$4,000 he did for me. Told me he cemented the post/rail with steps leading to deck- never happened. He literally laid Pine down, and screwed the boards to every other joist- what the....I have Pictures of everything wrong. I contacted him, but he was worried about sending somebody over because it would cost him $200. So disgusted!! Jason- you should be ashamed. If you have any Integrity- call me. How do I share pictures?? I have all pictures. A good business owner would contact me. You are not t that!! You know who this is! Absolutely pitiful!!
