"Evan was great to work with. He was on time and professional and completed a “doggie deck” for my aging dogs to continue to use the dog door and take pressure off their back legs. It makes a huge difference for our family and I thank him for the great work."

"FEMA required that our commercial property grade be raised out of the new floodplain. I pulled together bids from numerous companies and got their opinion on how they would go about the project because of it being in a hard to reach area. Of all the bids, Buds was the most affordable, and his approach to handling the project was very straight forward and made the most sense. He got started right away and stayed on the project every day until it was complete, which didn't take long. He stuck to his quote and there were no surprises. The site has been surveyed and the work looks good down to every detail. Bud and his company BMG Services will always be my go-to service provider for any future projects."

"Tatum Works showed up the next day, gave me a good price to fix my water leak (much better than the other two contractors I contacted) They finished the work faster than expected and restored my yard to the original state. We are so very happy with the entire project with Dustin and his crew. We would highly recommend this company."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

When planning land surveying in Conifer, consider how steep grades, granite outcrops, and thick pine forests may require specialized equipment and extra time. Seasonal wildlife activity and wildfire mitigation zones can also affect access and survey timing. Check for historic mining boundaries and private easements unique to mountain properties, and confirm if your land falls within any conservation overlays that may impact property boundaries or require additional documentation.

Helpful?

In Conifer, start each spring by locating and inspecting property monuments for frost heave or winter damage, and trim back any new growth. During summer, walk your property monthly to check for erosion, unauthorized use, or shifting markers. In fall, flag corners before snowfall and clear debris. Use winter to review survey records and plan improvements. Every few years, schedule a professional survey check, especially before building or fencing.

Helpful?

Before beginning land surveying in Conifer, gather your property’s deed and any previous survey maps, and check for visible markers or signs of old mining claims. Confirm you have legal access to all corners, and review any HOA rules or covenants that may affect the process. Clear brush from key areas, plan for work between late spring and early fall, and communicate with neighbors if boundaries are shared or disputed.

Helpful?

The longevity of land surveying in Conifer depends on using weather-resistant monument materials that can handle freeze-thaw cycles and intense sun. Installing markers deep enough to avoid frost heave, protecting them from wildlife, and maintaining clear access paths are crucial. Accurate, up-to-date documentation and compliance with Colorado’s survey standards help ensure your property boundaries remain reliable, even as the mountain environment shifts over time.

Helpful?

For land surveying in Conifer, prioritize professionals with proven experience handling mountain terrain and local property boundary challenges. Ask about their familiarity with seasonal access issues, private road agreements, and historic mining claims. Ensure they use equipment suited for high-altitude conditions and can provide clear communication throughout the project. Confirm they carry appropriate insurance and offer detailed, written proposals tailored to Conifer’s unique landscape.
