"Showed up on time, kept to the quote and did a beautiful job tiling the shower and floor. There were some issues with the prep so I'd recommend being sure your structural work is solid and just having them do tile work only (not installing cement board, niches or heated flooring.) However, as mentioned, the tile work is absolutely fantastic! I mean really really beautiful."

"Bruce was prompt with providing an estimate & was collaborative to schedule our kitchen backsplash based on our short timeframe. His crew, Isaac & Cody were professional, pleasant, & worked diligently with a keen attention to detail. It was evident that they were experienced & the quality is excellent. I would definitely use them again for future tile installation in our home. JM Castle Rock 9/23/2022"

"This is the BEST contractor I have ever worked with throughout Colorado! Very responsive, great pricing, and extremely conscientious of customer satisfaction! The quality of their workmanship far exceeded my expectations; my floors (~ 2000 sq ft) and my kitchen backsplash both look amazing. Furthermore, they were professional, courteous, and clean! Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

The tile spacing you should use will depend on the tile and where you’re installing it. Choosing the right tile spacers to maintain a consistent gap between your tiles is tricky. Generally, tile spacing shouldn’t be less than 2 millimeters on walls and 3 millimeters on floors because of stress relief requirements. Getting it wrong can result in uneven tiles and early repairs.

Installations typically take 1-3 days, depending on area size; repairs are usually completed sooner if the issue is localized.

The lifespan of tile flooring can vary significantly based on the material and maintenance. Generally, tile flooring can last anywhere from 10 to 30 years, but high-quality, well-maintained ceramic tile can last 75 to 100 years. To achieve a longer lifespan, you should clean the tiles and grout regularly, reseal the grout annually, keep the floor dry, and avoid placing extremely heavy items on it to prevent cracking. Choosing a high-quality tile (Grade 1) will also contribute to its longevity.

Penny tile should be sealed to protect the grout from moisture and keep stains from damaging the look of the tile. If penny tile is in a humid or high-traffic area, like a bathroom, kitchen, or entryway, it needs sealant. Any type of tile and grout is best maintained with a sealant reapplied by a pro every one to two years.

It’s not necessarily normal for tiles to lift, although it’s one of the common issues people may have with their tile flooring. Tiles correctly installed by pros with expansion joints should not lift over time. However, if the installation was done poorly, you might see tiles tenting or lifting as the house settles. This is more common in high-moisture areas with extreme temperatures.
