"I hired Black Rhino Custom to renovate my kitchen and replace the floors in the kitchen, main floor living space and hallways. From the first meeting with Austin and his team I was at ease, they made suggestions, listened to what I wanted and did not try to upsell. When they returned with samples for flooring, countertops and cabinets – they brought choices based on our original discussions. I could not be happier with the finished product, The Black Rhino team is professional and respectful of my home and my time. They showed up when promised, the estimated prices were adhered to and the quality of the products installed is as discussed and promised. Sure there were bumps in the timeline but Austin and his team smoothed out the issues and made things right and to my satisfaction. Sure stuff can happen during a renovation/remodel but Austin controlled what he could. Before hiring this team I did my research on the internet and called the references supplied by Black Rhino when I requested. "Preston of G-1 Plumbing performed the services and addressed the toilet & drain problem. He was unable to stop leak(made it worse) & submitted his recs to Choice Home for review. I was unable to understand Choice Home's response regarding the faucet leak. Their review stated faucet needed to be replaced BUT it was under "builder's warranty." I built this home in 2005. There is no "builder's warranty" now. I cancelled the proposed work order & paid out-of-pocket. A Friend, who was familiar with my builder and knows faucet components, came to my home, adjusted/cleaned the faucet cartridge and stopped the leak. The CHW tech, Preston, is conscientiuos, however, IMHO lacked the knowledge & experience to stop my leak. Home Warranty Companies, at least in my area, hire owner/operators who need the work to build their business and are NOT the most experienced/knowledgeable & are willing to work for less money. In my experience, Home Warranty Companies want the CHEAPEST resolution, not the BEST. I would recommend G-1 Plumbing for most plumbing issues."
