The most important thing for us is providing open communication with our clients and insuring they are aware of what is happening at all times. "Didn't even get to the job. Called 02/22/23 to schedule quote. Scheduled it 8 days out for 03/02/23 for 11:00. Called at 10:55 to inform his engineer went to the wrong address but both should be there shortly. At 11:09 texted to inform me no one was at my house and we needed to reschedule, despite me standing at the window waiting. After 30 minutes and several texts, confirmed he went to wrong address but too busy and needed to reschedule. Not very professional and very little respect for possible client."

"Chaz and his team just completed applying our new roof here in Conifer. After living in the 285 corridor for the past 37 years we finally made the decision to transition to worry free metal roofing. We chose Carpenter Roofing to complete our roofing project. Their price was right and we really like keeping our dollars local. We added 26 gauge Pro Panel II metal roofing, and Velux glass skylights to replace our old plastic dome skylights. Chaz listened to our specific concerns with a area of our roof which accumulates annual ice dams. He suggested additional snow rails to slow the snow load in the valleys. They located some degraded plywood and professionally replaced it to shore up the base. Chaz and his team impressed us with his communication skills, professionalism and promptness. The team always showed up on time and were ready to put in a full days work. They meticulously cleaned up after every days work and their final product was just as we could have ever imagined. Carpenter Roofing is HIGHLY recommended!"

The purchase price of 3-tab shingles is less than that of other material varieties, such as architectural shingles. However, 3-tab shingles generally last far fewer years than even the least expensive architectural ones. Other roofing types, such as metal or clay, also cost more than 3-tab shingles. However, if you plan to stay in your home for many years, the long-term cost of any of these options can compete with 3-tabs because of their longevity.

You can technically install a metal roof over asphalt shingles, but it isn’t a good idea. This is because you’re essentially creating a moisture barrier under the metal, which can easily—and often does—lead to significant mold damage. Removing an asphalt roof isn’t terribly expensive, and some roofing companies might cut you a serious labor and disposal discount if you add it to a new install.
