"I hired Rodi and his team to replace old, stock interior doors and trim with custom stained knotty alder wood versions and add a beetle kill wood accent wall to the entrance of our split-level home. They also replaced basement bathroom drywall, re-textured said walls, and patched ceiling drywall holes left by my light fixture replacements. From the outset, Rodi worked with my wife and I to give our foothills home the rustic mountain look that we wanted. From scoping to scheduling and work order changes that we requested, Rodi kept us informed of where we were in terms of time and costs to get the project finished. He was a delight to get to know and made suggestions that significantly improved where we were wanting to get to style-wise. We did not realize how much of an improvement that the remodel was going to make. WOW! Professional touches abound in the work of his team. I highly recommend getting MyGuys onto your remodel schedule soon, as I will be looking to get blocks of their calendar for early 2022."

"It took 3 hours to get an estimate. The salesman kept pressing for information about how much money I could put as a down payment. I only got an estimate after I threatened to leave. The total cost was very high. The person who called to schedule the salesman appointment was very pushy about windows and siding. About a week after my conversation with the salesman, a person called from DaBella and asked for a review of my experience. I finally hung up in exasperation. I have had other estimates from roofers who were able to be simple and direct. Price was a secondary factor in rejecting the company. I value simple, honest, direct people who are interested in getting me what I need and don't push."

"All Valley Remodeling replaced our tub/shower combo with a new walk in shower. They did an excellent job. Robert did our tile. We had ideas of what we wanted but Robert's ideas and expertise are what made the project turn out absolutely beautiful. We would not hesitate to hire All Valley Remodeling again."

"Rudy was great, he really cared about my bathroom remodel. He is friendly and hard working. We had some challenges with broken items and delivery times with Home Depot and he offered to take things back and pick things up beyond what I considered to be normal. He even removed a claw foot tub that weighed about a ton from my house and I literally have 30 stairs up to my front door. We plan on hiring Rudy again for home improvements."

Tub Shower Conversion questions, answered by experts

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common plumbing practice that can simplify installation and save space. When sharing a vent, it's important that the toilet is located downstream from all other fixtures. You will also need to ensure the vent pipe is large enough to handle the demands of all connected fixtures without compromising its effectiveness. Because requirements can vary, you should always check your local building and plumbing codes. Consulting a qualified plumber is recommended to ensure the vent is properly sized, installed, and adheres to all local regulations.

A shower handle that turns all the way around usually means that the set screw holding the handle on has loosened. Find the screw and tighten it with a screwdriver. If that doesn’t work, replace the shower handle, as an internal component in the old one may have broken, causing the normal valve stop to disengage.

In some cases, a broken shower is a maintenance emergency. For example, burst pipes, flooding, and significant leaks all qualify as plumbing emergencies and should be handled immediately. Other shower issues (like slow draining and low water pressure) aren’t as urgent, but it’s still a good idea to address them sooner rather than later.

Current trends include frameless glass, smart shower systems, and water-efficient fixtures.

If there are no issues with the plumbing in your house or with the city’s water lines, then it may be possible for you to increase water pressure in your shower by cleaning or replacing your showerhead. For the latter, you should look for high-pressure showerheads with a flow rate as close to the maximum available, which is 2.5 gallons per minute (GPM).
