I called Countryside Service for help with a clogged shower drain after another local company couldn’t resolve the issue. Jack came out for an estimate and followed my lead with COVID safety measures without a second thought or being asked. He was knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue below the ground level of my crawl space from a photo I took during a recent remodel when a section of floorboards above the drain were removed. Several feet of galvanized pipe and an outdated floor drain were replaced in tight quarters under the house. Jack showed me the old hardware and it was clear he made the right recommendation from the start. There was a misunderstanding about the amount I owed Jack for his work, which took less time and fewer people than indicated on his estimate; however Countryside Service takes their reputation for an honest price seriously and their team wasted no time resolving the conflict to my satisfaction in a very professional manner. At the end of the day it was clear that they are not in the business of taking advantage of their customers. I would certainly hire them again.

Horrible. The job was done competently, but they overcharged for what was accomplished. I paid $400 for a little over 1 hour of work. There were two people doing the job so that was roughly $200/hour for each employee. I did all of the prep work including digging the trench and cutting out the wall where they hooked up the outside line. When I asked them to adjust my billing by $200 I got a run around stating that I had to pay for their shopping spree on top of their rerouting my water line. I work in a service industry and would never dream of charging customers as they have done. Shame on you Coutryside.

They repaired the leak. Closed the trench but a month later we had to call them back. A valve that serviced our shop that was in the same trench would not work, had somehow been broken. They dug everything up again to replace the valve, with a much better valve system. Feel this should have been done with the first repair. Having to dig everything up again could have been avoided, plus the cost was doubled. Over $600 each time.

My pipes in the kitchen sink backed up. I have a house that was built in 1930 and it's been jerry-rigged over the years things are kind a like ya know. They put in a garbage disposal that the pipes have to run uphill to get out of and it plugged up. So they came in and they, and even though I had taken all the pipes apart to try and get the plug out myself, they were very kind about figuring out how to put it back together and giving me advice about how to keep it unplugged and stuff like that so they were very good. And they unplugged the drain for me. It was behind the wall.

Perfect. Tylor arrived on time, understood the task, performed it well, was friendly, and cleaned up when he was done. Also answered all questions I had. Wrote up a full report so everyone would know in the future what had been done. The cost was exactly what had been quoted, although his time was hourly and we didn't know in advance how long it would take.

It was installed quickly. The tech checked for leaks and made sure the boiler came up to pressure and temperature.

Technician removed old water heater and moved it to a location that created more space for a future heater. The welds and attachments of the new pipes were very nicely done and the workers were extremely professional. I plan to use this company as needed for future repairs.

They are a small plumbing outfit. The time that I called them was sort of a last-minute thing and they were able to accommodate what I needed done. They were absolutely outstanding. Their price was about average. It is what people charge for that service. He was very thorough and he was able to come and perform that very same day that I called him. He was right here on time when he said he would be. He was a very nice guy. I would absolutely use him again.

Initially first crew did not have the right equipment but were very professional and rescheduled for follow up visit. The second plumber was outstanding and had it fixed in no time and correctly. I previously had 2 prior evaluations but they were incorrect and did not get fixed until Countryside did it.

I had a frozen baseboard heating pipe, we called countryside out to thaw it, which involves the use of a small device that shoots electricity through the copper pipes at around 6 volts 300 amps, the causes the pipes to warm and thaws the frozen part of the system. The device costs around $800, and I figured I would never need it again so I called them out to thaw the system.
The guy who showed up didn't seem to understand electricity and spent over two hours with the machine hooked to the incoming and outgoing pipes right near the boiler, which took the path of least resistance and heated the water inside the boiler near boiling point (around 220 degrees), when the max the boiler should ever heat water to is 190 degrees. He refused to listen to my suggestion that he simply go from register to register. He spent much of the time in my driveway on his cell phone smoking cigarettes talking to someone else about how to solve the problem. I had to leave to work and come to find out, after I left he and later his boss showed up and spend several hours thawing another zone that wasn't even frozen! The total bill for all of this incompetence was almost $800 (the cost of the machine).
Disgusted I called the boss Phil (who was on site for part of this fiasco), and after a heated discussion we agreed that I should pay 2 hours at pipe thaw rate (a whopping $160 an hour), and 1 hour at service rate $75 an hour (for a copper coupling that he sweated). We agreed this would be the maximum amount of time it would have taken someone who knew how to use the machine to thaw the pipes.
I would be more satisfied with the service I received because (though I should never have to deal with all this incompetence) because Phil agreed to make it right. But when my insurance company called them to get the amount owed, Phil never made good on his word and they swore that the $800 figure was correct.
So as a frustrated customer, here I am writing this review... waiting for Phil to call me back, again.
Phil did eventually contact me. We agreed to split the difference on the bill and he charged for services performed to repair the pipe and for what the pipe thawing should have taken in labor. As a result I have bumped my review from a D to a B. At the end of the day, they made it right.

They saw cut my laundry room floor at a cost of $1000 to access the leak. The fixed the leak using a screw on coupling device. They did not sauter the pipes. A year later their pipe join came apart, flooding my house and causing $12,000 damage.

Countryside did not charge a separate service fee like the other plumber that came out. . Plus they were very prompt and came out to evaluate the job the next day. They put us on the schedule... just a couple of days. It's Holiday time and they still accommodated us.
Then a snow storm hit the valley, schools closed but at 9 am I received a call they are on the way and to expect two vehicles, the employees names, etc.
They were where here 4 hours working...even in a snow storm they replaced my hot water heater.
The installers were professional. Very polite. And they were educated in their field. They cleaned up after themselves and I couldn't have asked for a better company to come into my home.

I used COUNTRYSIDE SERVICE INC to stop my sink from leaking. Boy they did a wonderful job. I liked the fact that they called me a head of time to let me know that they were on their way. The guy that came out was very nice and introduced himself and he seemed to be very knowledgeable. My sink no longer leaks and that's great. He had a great sents of humor, I loved that about him. The experience was nice, I like COUNTRYSIDE SERVICE INC and would recommend then to other people to use then, I would also use them again.

Very well. Work was completed in a timely manner. Costs estimate was met. Had some agreed-upon add-ons. Would definitely use their services in the future.
