"Windows and doors NO NO NO!!! Siding yes. CSR Colorado Siding Repair / Bellwether Homes did a full upgrade/renovation of our exterior. They did a great job on the HardiBoard siding but a horrible job on installing the doors. Gaps underneath the door, could see light coming thru and cold wind blowing thru. I have them come and "fix it" but did a lousy job and I ended up repairing it myself. They installed our windows OK but used the wrong color interior trim. I paid for TRIPLE PANE windows but they installed double pane windows with an add on non sealed window panel meant for an internal blind setup. Not really triple pane as quoted."

The threshold sits on top of the door sill. A kick plate is a protective plate that sits against the face of a door to prevent damage to the door from feet and shoes. You’ll usually only find kick plates on exterior doors, while every door has a door sill, and most exterior and interior doors have a threshold.
