"Charles and his crew had to deal with a string of rainy days in the middle of the job, AND the impending Safer At Home lockdown. Other companies might have made excuses or cut corners. Not CRS. The guys did a terrific job, listening to our input and checking to make sure we were satisfied with each stage. Our house was not an easy one to paint dormer windows on a steep roofline, lots of plantings near the house, etc. but they went the extra mile to make sure every detail was to our liking. They had as little impact on us during painting as possible, cleaned up after themselves afterward, and left us with a beautifully painted home for a very fair price. "I first met Tony, owner of Nexxus Remodeling, soon after his lead hardwood flooring installer had come to check out my home so they could send me an estimate. My project was to rip out all carpet in my upstairs, and on the stairs from the 1st floor. Even before I had received all bids I’d sought from him and other contractors, Tony found out the floor I’d intended to buy was out of stock. He arranged for me to go to a showroom that has the best inventory and selection I’d seen in my search, and he met me there to personally assist me to find flooring I liked just as well as my first choice. I was soon able to determine that Tony’s bid was very comprehensive and reasonable, but his efforts to help me before even being hired had impressed me just as much. If you want to hire a contractor who will go to extreme lengths to ensure you end up a totally satisfied customer, Tony. He said from the beginning that he wouldn’t consider my flooring project completed until I felt that every detail had been attended to, and he meant it! Tony personally checks in frequently to monitor the project. His crew does it all (carpet removal and disposal; installation of hardwood flooring, moldings and risers; carpentry; removal and replacement of doors and furniture; and, clean up after each days work). Not only that but they removed a washer and dryer that had konked out, and brought them downstairs onto my patio, AND then they cleaned out a laundry area that had at least 25 years worth of lint and dust built up in it. The job involved, demolition of an add-on wall, patching and plastering of ducting holes left behind from where the old A/C unit used to be, and painting the whole area. Brian called me within 15 minutes of my inquiry. After explaining the project, he scheduled an appointment to assess the job in person. After our initial meeting, I hired him for this project, estimated for completion in four days. Brain showed up on schedule every day, worked in my garage the whole day, not jumping from job to job. He delivered at the end of the 4th day! I am thrilled with his work. Such a clean job without a trace of the mess left behind considering he had to build the drywall in some areas and match the wall texture to the surrounding area. He added trims for a clean finish, even though it wasn’t part of the quote. He even took away the trash I accumulated over the years from my garage free of charge. When I confirmed the final balance before writing him a check, he said; ‘I quoted you $800 and that is what you owe me, nothing has changed’.
