We went over our initial budget, partly because some electrical problems from an earlier renovation arose that needed repairing, and partly because we added a number of bells and whistles after the initial estimate. But for example, the custom maple cabinetry cost far less than we were quoted elsewhere and included a lot of special touches, such as an appliance garage, a cutlery drawer, and a pull-out, multi-shelf spice drawer. 
At each step in the process, Kevin kept us apprised of costs and got our approval before any work was done. And for all the extras we requested during construction, we had a brand-new kitchen just a couple of days after the original estimated completion date. We couldn?t be happier with the results. Every remodeling job has its glitches and challenges, and ours was no exception, but Kevin went the extra mile to make sure were getting our dream kitchen. The city permit process slowed down the work but the demo/construction time was pretty much on schedule. Artlux was instrumental in obtaining the chosen appliances for the bbq peninsula. Brothers Abel and Rodrigo Arteaga were very responsive to all mid-course changes to the scope of work without much impact to the overall agreed initial estimate cost.
