"Internet connection was weak, garbled communication. But, they remained very professional and we could crack a joke every now and then when things got annoying. Once up and running the diagnostic test was done in 5 min. Confirming my suspicions. Part number was sent within minutes."

"Wasn’t sure what I was dealing with but our pump was not working. Called Arsenal Well and Pump and they came out the next day at the time they had stated. The technician diagnosed and made his recommendation and was spit on. Their pricing was also very reasonable. Again can’t recommend them enough. Their whole staff are very friendly and pleasant to work with. Sincerely, S. Hernandez"

"On Saturday May 11. the installers showed up on time and ready to begin my job. I was impressed with knowledge and ability to perform their own job, but also, the fact that they assisted each other to complete a particular phase of the installation. The job began at 7:30 a.m. and was completed at 3:30 p.m. I was also impressed with their professionalism and the consideration that they showed to me the home owner.
When the system was installed enough to test the ducting air flow pressure, the tester showed up to complete this phase of the installation. This greatly impressed me that all work was completed within the allotted time frame.

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

It can be safe to live in a house with asbestos as long as the asbestos-containing materials are intact, in good condition, and not disturbed. Asbestos becomes dangerous only when its fibers are released into the air, which happens if the material is damaged, crumbling, or disturbed during renovation work. If you suspect asbestos is present, do not disturb it. Instead of removal, materials in good condition can sometimes be encapsulated. It is recommended to have regular professional inspections to monitor the condition of the asbestos and prevent health risks from potential exposure.

Asbestos can be found in many building materials, especially if the materials were installed more than 20 years ago. Asbestos-containing materials (ACM) can include:

  • Acoustic ceiling tiles

  • Furnace insulation

  • Home appliances

  • Fire-retardant clothing

  • Cement pipe

  • Pipe insulation

  • Wall and ceiling insulation

  • Vehicle brake pads

  • Vinyl flooring

  • Sprayed acoustic ceilings

  • Stove insulation

  • Patching compounds

  • Textured paints

  • Roofing shingles

  • Siding

It is strongly advised not to touch or disturb asbestos-containing materials unless necessary. Asbestos fibers can be released into the air when the material is damaged or disturbed, posing serious health risks if inhaled. It is best to leave any handling of asbestos to trained professionals who can remove the asbestos safely.

Although the use of asbestos has declined since the 1980s, it remains in several different types of building construction materials for insulation and as a fire retardant. Typically, asbestos can be found in materials such as ceiling and floor tiles, heat-resistant fabrics and coatings, and roof shingles. You may also find asbestos in textured paint and patching compounds.

Do not panic if you are exposed to asbestos. The illnesses associated with asbestos exposure are rare. If you are concerned about exposure, talk to your doctor, especially if you are having any respiratory symptoms, such as coughing or difficulty breathing. They may recommend imaging to get a view of the insides of your organs and determine if scarring or growths are present.
