"Antonio called me the same day of my request. I hired him and he arrived in a timely manner the next day. He pruned my palm and maple trees and hauled them away. He does excellent work and reasonably priced. I highly recomment Quinones Landscape and Tree Service."

"This was for the removal of two dead trees that were near our house. Very professional and efficient, and had all the right tools and equipment. Different people from the same company also do our monthly pest service, and we are pleased with that as well."

"These guys are awesome. Hard workers. They do what the say they are going to do. They show up on time. And when there all done. They clean up after themselves. Very professional and great to work with. They cut down 9 trees for me. 1 being a very big oak tree. They took that tree down with no problems. I was very impressed. You need a really good tree service company. Call Jet Tree Service!"

"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"Crew was right on time and wasted no time getting to work. Very efficient in removing and grinding three trees and pruning several other trees in an over grown yard. Clean up was much better than I had hoped for. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone I talk to. I could not be happier with the results."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.

A general rule is that trees need 10 gallons of water for each inch of the tree’s diameter. For large trees, that can amount to approximately 160 gallons of water or more. Watering big trees to this extent can take quite a bit of time using a hose. For this reason, you may consider installing a soaker hose or sprinkler system to make the job easier.

On average, tree removal costs around $750, with a typical range between $200 and $2,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the tree's height, trunk diameter, species, and overall health. Accessibility is also a key factor; costs will be higher if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or located near structures like power lines or your home. Additional costs may apply for services such as stump removal (which can add $100 to $150), log-splitting, debris cleanup, and obtaining necessary permits. It is also customary to tip the professional, usually between $20 and $100.

Common signs that a tree is rotting include dead branches, a leaning trunk, peeling or cracked bark, leaf discoloration, and the presence of fungi. If you notice any of these signs, it’s best to hire an arborist near you to inspect your tree and determine if it can be saved or if it needs to come down.

Large, established tree branches won’t grow roots, but if you find a young tree branch that’s less than about a year old, you’ve got a shot. Put it in water or soil as soon as possible for best results. You’ll know the branch is viable if it’s about the thickness of a pencil and has some leaves or needles.
