"This was for the removal of two dead trees that were near our house. Very professional and efficient, and had all the right tools and equipment. Different people from the same company also do our monthly pest service, and we are pleased with that as well."

"These guys are awesome. Hard workers. They do what the say they are going to do. They show up on time. And when there all done. They clean up after themselves. Very professional and great to work with. They cut down 9 trees for me. 1 being a very big oak tree. They took that tree down with no problems. I was very impressed. You need a really good tree service company. Call Jet Tree Service!"

"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"Crew was right on time and wasted no time getting to work. Very efficient in removing and grinding three trees and pruning several other trees in an over grown yard. Clean up was much better than I had hoped for. I was very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone I talk to. I could not be happier with the results."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Transplanting a palm tree is a similar process except for a couple of important differences. First, their root ball doesn’t need to be as large as a “true” tree, which makes them a bit easier to dig up and move around. Second, they struggle more with taking root and staying upright in a new location, so it’s important to give them extra support when staking.

A palm tree's lifespan typically ranges from 40 to 100 years, though some species can live much longer. For example, certain types of Date Palm trees can live for over 200 years. The exact longevity of a palm tree is influenced by several factors, including its species, size, climate, and growing conditions. To maximize your palm's lifespan, provide proper care and maintenance, such as ensuring it gets enough sunlight, water, and nutrients, and protecting it from pests and diseases. For expert maintenance tips, consider consulting a professional arborist.

Generally, you should prune around 20% of an apple tree’s growth—and never more than 30%. This means that if you have a severely overgrown tree, it can take a few seasons to prune it back enough to produce the healthiest fruit.

If you’re dealing with a newly planted or juvenile tree, hold off on pruning beyond the initial shaping. Wait at least a couple of seasons into fruit production since pruning can increase the number of water sprouts and unproductive foliage.

Aside from removing dead or diseased branches, you should prune your trees somewhere between every one and three years. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years.

Yes, the same rules discussed above apply to your neighbor: They can trim one of your trees as long as they’re only cutting the portion that extends into their property. Your neighbor is not allowed to access your property without permission, nor can they cut past the property line.
