The only reason I would rate them between excellent and good is that they were supposed to stop by the store in order to give me a quote, and didn’t call the day they missed going to the store to reschedule to give me a quote. I called them to reschedule to get the quote. Regardless of being busy, once a day and time are set to provide a quote, if they can not make it, they need to call and let the customer know and reschedule. Otherwise, they did a great job. The day of the service they texted to let me know they would be delayed so that was excellent communication. I then let them know I had to leave a certain time, and they got to me sooner than they had rescheduled for which was great! Price was fair and reasonable. At the store they were professional, followed Covid 19 protocol, respectful, hard working and great to deal with. Positive can do attitudes! I would definitely call them again."

"If you need a handyman, Carlos Painting and Handyman services are absolutely the way to go! From the first correspondence, Carlos was professional and prompt.  His work (and that of his very capable assistant Luis)  included the following:

• *installing doorknobs and smoke alarms,

*sealing, priming and painting the outside of our living room and dining room windows, 
*completely redoing a skylight in the kitchen (cleaning, scraping, priming, painting) It's absolutely beautiful and has changed the look and feel of our whole kitchen! 
*installing two light fixtures (this included fixing the wiring in both),
 *painting kitchen cabinets,
*regrouting the kitchen sink,
 *priming and painting the baseboards in the living room, dining room and hallway,
*fixing a water damaged wall
*Priming and painting the trim around the living and dining room windows.

*removing the carpet in the  large  hallway and cleaning up the hardwood underneath, (gorgeous)

Carlos brought all of the supplies and even went to home depot to pick up some items for projects that I had added to the original list.  Carlos is a perfectionist who takes great pride in his work. 
He is a great listener when you explain what you need and makes valuable suggestions! 
I love walking around the house and seeing all of the wonderful improvements.  If houses could smile, mine would have the biggest around.

"The approximate cost was $1300. The guys were nice. But the paint job isn't holding up that well. From the wall were my alarm is when the wall gets touch the paint is coming off. I don't think they did do a primer. It's not holding up I can see were it needs to be touched up in hallway and the laundry room where they painted and same in the kitchen. They were kind of in a hurry so they didn't spend time on prep. That's the kind of comment I will make to future customer. It looks good but they don't do a lot of prep. There were areas that have to be touched up.  It's not even a full year yet. They kind of want to get in and out.  Initially he came in with a price. He verbally gave me quotes for each room and because I am a female. He went outside to his truck to come back with the final bill and it was 3 times than what he said for each room. I say to him I guess I have to give you a not so great review on Angie's List because the quote and the integrity of all that is part of why I use Angie's List. When I said that he called me back and said oh I'm so sorry I don't know what I was thinking. That wasn't the quote I wanted to give you. I am like oh my god if I hadn't said that this guy will be taking me to the cleaners. They were on time. They were professional."
