The cleaners checked with me a few times during the day as they finished areas to make sure that I was pleased, and they followed up on any areas that I pointed out to them. After the house cleaning, they cleaned the carpets in the main traffic areas of the house and the master bedroom. The carpets looked great, and it was so convenient to have everything done at the same time. The cleaners worked really hard and Al checked with me at the end of the day to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction."

I bought a porch swing hoping it would go on my ceiling. But Douglas informed me it was not possible with my aluminum ceiling in my backyard. He recommended creating a wood beams and poles to hold the swing, He helped with all the wood we had to get and made sure it was sturdy and stable. He took out the old lighting in the kitchen and had a friend Eric who put in the recessed lighting and then John came back to do the drywall and painting of the kitchen ceiling. "While Michael the owner was responsive when it came to the actual scheduled job he sent a much junior technician whom I certainly did not expect because he did not tell me. They were supposed to contact me before he showed up but there was no advance call, luckily I was home at the time. The tech did his job and was about to just leave without showing/telling me about how it works or what he installed. I had to ask him about the installation so I can be sure I knew how the equipment operated and if there's anything I needed to know about the install. In the end my opinion is the attic fan was a waste of money and my time. We don't notice any difference in the interior temperature of our house when it's hot. When I inquired about a refund (within 30 days of the install), Michael said he would offer $89 refund for the equipment and not the install. And to think if I didn't use Angie's list, this would have cost me several more hundred dollars. An expensive lesson learned!

His price for wood replacement was also comparably lower. Gil was easy to communicate with, very straightforward and always reachable. All the members of his crew I encountered were very polite, hard working, and cleaned up well at the end of the day. Also, the roof was completed earlier than anticipated. Gil was very attentive to detail. He did a great job matching the color of the vents and dormers to the shingle color. Also, he ensured my home was clean before the final walk-through. About the workmanship, the roof job looks amazing. Moreover, Gil provided a warranty that is consistent with other roofers I met. Therefore, I can rest easy when the rains hit in the coming months. Not a comment about Gil or GM Pacific Pro, but for anyone wanting to redo their home, just remember shingle colors look different in different lighting. The shingles on my roof look much lighter than what they did at Home Depot. Fortunately, I really like the look of my new roof. Overall, I am very happy about GM Pacific Pro and would recommend them to family and friends."
