"Scope of our job included demolition, debris removal, electrical, plumbing, dry wall construction/finishing, tile laying, painting and cabinet installation. It also Included building permits and building code inspections.
Kyle recommended several changes to our design approach that improved the look of the final bathrooms and made them more functional. Kyle hires and trains his workers well. Two workers were assigned to our project and did most of the actual work under Kyle?s supervision. All of the team members were extremely nice to interface with, had no ?attitude? problems, cleaned up after they completed work each day, worked weekends when required to meet the schedule and always showed up on time. They made no false promises and instead always did what they said they were going to do. We were consulted when unexpected problems arose such as a building inspector requiring a modification to meet his/her interpretation of the building code.
Since all three of our bathrooms were being remodeled while we lived in the house, Kyle?s Team was most agile in scheduling the tasks such that we always had a bathroom for our use.

"“Pier was everything we were hoping for and more. He had previously done a small powder room re-do, and I had kept his card. Good thing. When he came to give us an estimate on updating the kitchen, his knowledge was incredible. The end-product was more than we had hoped for. The painters & the counter-top installer were the best. Very happy with the end result.”"

"Double Diamond were very professional, easy to talk to about projects. I am hiring them to do additional projects. I found that no job is either to large or to small for them to handle . Their bid was a very fair bid. They are now my 'Go-To' guys. :-)"

Customers say: True professional

"Our landscaping in Menlo Park needed a complete refresh. The team replaced thirsty plants with drought-tolerant options that still provide plenty of color and curb appeal. We're using much less water without sacrificing appearance."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

A 24-foot diameter pool is the most popular size for a round above ground model, while 15 by 30 feet is a common choice for oval-shaped pools. However, you'll find round sizes everywhere between 8 and 33 feet. Oval pools range up to 21 by 41 feet but can be customized to stretch much longer. Choosing the right size will come down to where you can level your yard and how many swimmers plan to use the pool at a given time.

An easy way to know whether your sand filter has enough sand is to check how full the filter is and what the sand looks and feels like. The filter container should be two-thirds to three-quarters full of sand. Look for interior marks indicating the ideal sand level. If you put your hand into the sand, it should flow through your fingers without clumping. The filter pressure gauge is also an easy indicator—the right amount of sand leads to normal pressure, while too much or too little sand can cause high or low pressure.

It’s best to avoid draining your pool onto your lawn for several reasons. Most importantly, your local municipality may not allow homeowners to drain pools in areas where it can seep into groundwater. Additionally, draining pool water on your lawn can cause erosion and damage your grass.

The depth of your pool depends on its intended use, the size of your lawn, and whether you opt for an in-ground or aboveground pool. Aboveground pools tend to be between four and six feet deep while in-ground pools range anywhere from three to eight feet. Permanent installations also have the option of shallow and deep ends.

It is possible to install an above-ground pool yourself in about six hours, provided your yard isn't too sloped or you don't have many trees. It's imperative to ensure your ground is level; otherwise, your pool could collapse. Contact a swimming pool installer for an in-ground pool installation or to ensure your above-ground pool is installed correctly.
