"Rolando wants to provide the best results and makes excellent recommendations that you should consider and discuss. Lower cost (cheaper paints) don’t necessarily give you the best or lasting results. His team is very meticulous and does a great job in prepping and cleanup."

"Flex Painting was incredibly professional and performed great work. Our home was in desperate need of stucco repair, window trim replacement, and paint and they were able to do that and more. After our kitchen contractors abandoned our window replacements, Flex paint stepped in and got the job done! Bayardo even stopped by for one last walk through after we were satisfied with the work just to touch up spots he was not personally satisfied with. I would highly recommend their services and will be using them again when we are ready to skim coat our bedrooms as they are by far the most reliable contractors we have hired throughout our home renovation."
Before pictures
(Before Pic)Home was pressure washed with a 3000 psi machine to remove as much dirt and grime from the exterior house wall surfaces before painting. We sanded all the bad areas and spot primed them before painting. Used caulking to seal any open grooves and open wood joints as needed.
(Before l) This photo shows the condition of the cabinet before it was refinished. You can see the stain is faded and clear coat is chipping away from water damage and moisture in the air.
Exterior Repaint
Prepped the door for painting. Sanded it then primed it. Removed the door handle and carefully covered the hinges before spray painting the door.

"The project is to plaster, texture and paint the recessed ceiling in the kitchen. Chris (John's brother) came over to provided a free quote, which was competitive. He spent 3 days plaster, texture and finally paint the ceiling and also repaired some existing paint cracks. He always showed up on time, prep the work area and left everything clean when the work was done. This company did an excellent job and I would hire them again for future projects."

"I hired Chris and Cal Painting Plus to Paint intumescent paint on the ceiling beams and columns on a large commercial project. Chris was there personally every day to make sure the project was going well and was adequately staffed. We pushed very hard sometimes twelve hour days to meet a extremely tight schedule. Cal painting Plus not only completed the project but Chris Himself worked with the special inspector to insure proper converge. Cal painting Plus showed extreme professionalism and integrity on this project. I would highly recommend them for any commercial or residential project."

"We had an accent wall in the family room, high ceiling with sweeping staircase and entry wall to the living room that extended to the second floor painted. Due to the height of the ceiling it was a challenge when we first painted it. We didn’t want to take on that challenge again. Samual and his team did a beautiful job. Samual provided a detailed quote and a fair price. He and his team were very professional and cordial. We definitely recommend and will use Bonilla Painting again for future jobs."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

Most spray paints are oil-based, meaning you will need a solvent to dissolve them, like paint thinner, lacquer thinner, or acetone. While solvents can be useful in removing paint, they are also very flammable and require the use of a respirator. Beyond that, these products may smear paint and cannot be used on all surfaces.

If you recently splashed paint on the wrong area of a wooden object, remove it with a solvent or caustic paint stripper. Some paint that has yet to dry may be removable by hand with coarse sandpaper or a plastic scraper. Another trick for removing dried-on paint is rubbing a dab of nail polish remover on the paint to remove it, but avoid touching the bare wood surface.

Yes, but with caution. A floor grinder is intended to level and polish concrete, so it is a very powerful tool. To remove paint, the floor grinder should be set to 35 square feet per minute or less to minimize the pressure without the use of pocket weights. You might need to go over the surface two times to get any paint that has sunk into the concrete’s pores.

Using a wire brush, forcefully scrub the surface to remove paint from metal. You’ll want to remove any lingering rust, too. For larger areas with caked-on rust, you may need to use a wire brush drill attachment. If the paint still won’t budge, apply a chemical paint stripper to the area and scrape off the paint, after following the paint stripper’s instructions.

The most common reason paint peels is because moisture gets trapped underneath it and disrupts its bond with the wall. Other causes for peeling paint include a poor original paint job, painting over a surface with dirt or other foreign material on it, or applying paint coats that are too thick.
