"I've been working on an outdoor entertaining space in our backyard for literally years.  Designing, drawing, getting quotes, redesigning, budgeting, etc.  I could never quite get it right because of some unfortunate property limitations.  Then last December I found a photo on Pinterest of a bbq and entertainment area shaded by a custom-shaped canvas patio roof structure that curved around trees and then angled perfectly into a weirdly shaped space.  It completely opened my mind to entirely different possibilities for this project on which I was paralyzed.  The photo linked back to Superior Awning, so I called them and they sent out a man right away who knew everything about the exact project in the photo.  He offered a few different ideas for our difficult space, all of which were revelations!  My partner and I worked with his drawings, chose one and kick-started the project back into gear.  It's nearly finished now and shaded with our own perfectly made-to-order canvas patio cover in an exquisitely textured fabric that glows like candlelight underneath.  Superior Awning did a beautiful job with the installation and we're incredibly grateful for the design ideas.  Highly recommended.

"Work was excellent. Ocean Seven Builders Crew was very professional and arrived on time. Excellent preparations before work began, covering all plants surrounding the house. Minimum lunch break, offered to use our house for lunch but had lunch outside instead. Clean-up after work was completed was excellent, no debris found on the premise. The finished work, roof looks beautiful. The initial service call was excellent taking time and covering all the work details, color, upgrade options and benefits. Excellent follow-up after initial visit via email. Very responsive to all follow-on questions. We felt like they were doing the quality of work they would do on their own homes. "As soon as the contract was signed, Rick scheduled the work quickly. He came with his workers and remeasured everything. We discussed the design and he gave me some catalogues to look at designs. I selected a combination of two designs. Rick and I discussed the finish on the railings and I selected black. The railings were installed. There were a total of three different steps, each different from one another. The railings in the front of the house needed to curve with the conture of the steps. One other was just a straight forward design which was straight. The final set went in an area where I plant my vegetables. The railing needed to be spaced so I could still have access to work in the garden yet allow safety on some very steep steps.The work was completed within a few days after starting. When the final coat of paint was finished I was not completely satisfied with the finish. Rick came to inspect the work and was not satisfied either. He sent the painters back to sand and repaint all the railings. He suggested instead of the black an antique bronze might be a better choice for color. He was right. I was very pleased with the final paint.
Rick has completed several projects for me and I have been very satisfied with all the work. 
I will call him again when I am ready for my next project.

"We had already had paid an architect and structural engineer to create blueprints.  My plan was to contact 4 contractors to submit bids for the job.  I found Goodfellas through Angie's List and they had a ton of great reviews, so I went to their website and requested a quote.  In less than 24 hours they contacted me and we scheduled an appointment for the next day.  I met with Danny and showed him the blueprints, and we talked about some other details that we wanted to see from the project.  Danny was very patient and took a lot of time listening to my wants/needs, but also gave some great suggestions on how we could improve the look and feel of the home.  After about an hour and a half, Danny provided me with a detailed quote and was on his way. 
My wife and I continued to interview other contractors, but finally settled on Danny and his team.  Once I let Danny know we were going to go with Goodfellas, he scheduled another appointment with us to go through the contract.  This meeting was substantially longer than the first, but only because Danny is so detail oriented that he wanted to make sure that every possible piece of the project was covered in the contract.  After settling all the details of the contract, we discussed start dates.  Initially, Danny had promised to start about a week after the meeting, however, he called me later that night and said that they could start in a couple days. 
Work started on 11/30/15.  Danny was on-site the first day with his crew walking them through the various aspects of the project.  I was not home at the time to meet all of them, but did get a chance to meet the Foreman, Rudy.  Rudy and his team stayed well past sunset to get some concrete demo work done and were back bright and early the next morning to finish it up.  By the end of the second day they had removed all the old concrete and had dug up the area where the new foundation will eventually be laid.  I am very curious about how this process works and Rudy has been more than willing to take a few minutes to explain things to me. 
The project is still on going, but I know Danny, Rudy and their team are going  to continue to do great work.
