Small jobs welcome

"Lindgren Construction is the best. I hope to work with Eric again.
I own a rental property in Hollister with a long triangular yard with public access on both sides.
I wanted a tall redwood fence around the side and back perimeter of the property: a total of over 370
linear feet. I am staying in Arizona and needed to hire a contractor site unseen..
I made contact with Eric and we communicated regularly via telephone and text. In all his dealings
with me he was clear and respectful.
The existing fence had to be removed.
It was a mix of old railroad ties, horse wire, and ancient redwood. Against the back fence was overgrown weeds and
possibly some trash that would need removal. Yucca plants grew on the back fence and would need cutting before the
new fence could be installed.  County approval would be needed.
Eric gave me a quote, which was too high. He then redesigned the fence to 5' to lower the cost.
The job was begun and finished within four days of receiving my down payment.
There were some adjustments along the way..I asked to have it stained. He used a very good quality
light redwood stain. We had some huge Yucca trees in our driveway encroaching on the neighbor's garage.
Eric offered to remove it for me, and did so on the last day of the job. . In all things
it was easy to work with Eric. He clearly went out of his way to do the best possible job. My renters
report his workers where great people to be around.
The finished product is beautiful. It shows excellent craftsmanship and good esthetic sense.
I have only given him four stars on price because it was a lot for me. I did no price comparison.
I can tell you it was well worth the expense. My property is much enhanced?way more than I expected
when we started. It's beautiful! Eric is a great guy who will go out of his way to do a great job.

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Choose a barn door with an extra two to three inches on either side of the frame. The width of the barn door will depend on the type and placement of your track, but in most cases, an additional inch or two will do the trick.

It’s much less expensive to build a house with wood. This is because wood is relatively inexpensive, strong enough to endure decades or even centuries of weathering and pressure, and is easier to replace if there are issues. The cost of stone houses are incredibly expensive, heavy, time-consuming to build, and difficult to repair.

You don’t typically need a permit to build a shed, but it’s best to check with your local city clerk to make sure before you start the project. Every town, city, and municipality can have different rules when it comes to any home improvement project. Homeowners associations sometimes have restrictions on the materials you can use on your property as well.

Building a tiny house is the least complicated way to build, especially if you’re tackling the project as a DIY. The smaller size means less complex plans, more straightforward utility installation, and fewer ways to make costly errors. Tiny homes still need to conform to building codes and often have other applicable regulations, so be sure to get the proper permits and confirm your build is by the book.

The term “cottage” is subjective, so there’s no rigid definition, but it generally refers to a small home with simple and purposeful architecture that embraces nature and focuses on charm over everything else. Cottages are typically 1 or 1 1/2-stories tall, usually with gabled roofs, and are built out of natural materials that help make the structure a part of the surrounding nature rather than something that stands out from it. A big part of what makes a cottage a cottage is the decor, which includes natural materials from the nearby area.
