If given a project I am fully able to organize the project, purchase all needed materials and complete the job as agreed upon. I typically work alone on most projects, however I have several individuals that are available do custom work on remodels where a specific craftsman is required. At the completion of the project I will provide each client with an itemized invoice of labor and materials. I charge each client for the purchase price of materials. I have worked on remodels - both mobile units and typical construction.

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can fill rotten wood with expanding foam. You may prefer using an expanding foam treatment instead of wood filler since the latter can take a long time to dry. It may also provide an easier solution when you’re dealing with smaller gaps. If you use expanding foam, allow it to cure for about 24 hours before you sand and prime it.

You should consider the time needed to clean and prepare your bedroom set for transit. A few days before moving, vacuum, dust, and clean your furniture with a mild cleaning solution. Depending on the movers and the services you pick, you might need to pre-pack the mattress and box spring in boxes designed for beds and disassemble some furniture by removing doors and hardware. Finally, don’t forget to take plenty of pictures documenting the pre-move condition in case you need to file a claim.

It’s not recommended that you get rid of your mattress if you’re experiencing a bed bug infestation. This action could cause the infestation to spread to other people and homes. Instead of replacing your mattress, you should take steps to eliminate the bed bugs from the mattress and then focus on preventing further infestations.

High humidity and moisture are the main causes of wood furniture damage, which cause it to warp or crack. You’ll always want to quickly clean and dry any spilled liquids on wood. Make sure you’re storing your furniture in dry places unless it’s been weather treated—that means your outdoor patio may not be the best spot for your antique side table.

It is usually worth repairing leather furniture, as it tends to retain its value, provided you care for the material. A typical repair for leather furniture will cost about $250, which is significantly more affordable than replacing the furniture entirely. Even if you spend toward the upper end of the typical cost range for a full reupholstering—around $4,000—you’ll still save money over replacing it. Of course, the quality of the leather and the piece of furniture matters. Consult a leather repair professional about whether it’s worth repairing your leather furniture.
