"My yard had a lot of weeds. They came to work at my house immediately. They started working as soon as they arrived. They check the smallest detail so that their work will be excellent. They start and finish working very quickly. Everyone works as a team to provide the best service you can find. When they finish, they make sure before leaving that the work is to your liking. Every movement you want to make, they do it for you and they don't move from there until you are completely sure that you like it that way. They are a team of wonderful workers."

"Alvaro did a great job doing an annual gutter cleaning. He also performed some minor repairs and cleaned up everything, including fallen leaves in the front and back yard that weren’t even related to the gutter cleaning. Great service and highly recommended."

"They were great young gentlemen. I asked for an area to be done, and it was done. Then, I would say.....well, how much for adding this section? They would give me a price and come out and do that section. Pretty soon, I finished off the entire yard and they had helped finish a project I realized was much larger than I expected. They never complained, just showed up and pitched right into the next section. The yard is great and I am so pleased. They kept their prices low and worked with the strange shapes and inclines. Thanks! I will call anytime I see someone who needs help or upkeep."

"We found Damian Guerrero through a good friend recommended Damian to us to help for our gardening needs. Damian returned his calls in less 24 hours, and showed up when promised. He did a fantastic job trimming my over grown front and back yards plants, pulled all the weeds, and left what could not fit in the yard waste in a nice neat pile we can easily put in the yard waste next pick up day. I recommend Guerrero Lawn Service"

Lawns questions, answered by experts

The time it takes for leaves to decompose can range from six months to three years. Key factors influencing the decomposition rate include water, sunlight, and heat, so local weather conditions play a significant role. Decomposition will take longer for thick, matted layers of leaves. To speed up the process, you can mulch the leaves, as smaller pieces break down faster. Spreading large piles into thinner layers to increase exposure to sunlight and water also helps accelerate decomposition.

Always do a poop sweep before mowing your lawn. Running your mower over dog waste can be messy, unsanitary, and smelly, and it can spread the poop to other parts of your lawn. Plus, you won’t be able to get it out of the grass (or the mower blades) easily.

There are several ways to decompose yard waste quickly. The first step is to move all debris into a compost bin or pile. From there, microorganisms, bacteria, and insects will break down the yard waste into compost. To speed things up, shred the waste into smaller pieces, add live worms to the pile, or introduce nitrogen-rich compost accelerators like grass clippings, coffee grounds, and manure. Turn the compost over every few days. This process, called aerating, allows oxygen to get in and accelerate decomposition.

You may need to lay sod on the areas you dug up once you get the okay from the contractor. It will take about 30 to 45 days for the sod to take root. Consult a local sod installer to get an accurate estimate of the timeline of your specific yard-enhancement project.

The optimal time to tackle thorn bush removal is during late fall or winter when the bushes are dormant. The plants are less active during this time of year, making it easier to prune and remove. Additionally, you can more easily see what you’re cutting since there are no leaves.
