"Jesse was prompt in keeping the appointment for the estimate and providing the quote and additional information regarding materials for the job. Unfortunately the employee doing the labor (although his work is exceptional) has a full tme day job and is working on my job part time at the end of his normal work day. I was not informed of this so what I thought would take one full day has become three part time days, but does still fall within the date range I requested for completion."

"estimate was included with replacing the 3ft pipes / part and labor costs ! but because the main pipe was very close to sprinkler point , so it was not necessary to use an additional pipe and it was not used! but charged as same as if they put time and material for it."

"Technicians arrived during the designated time. They drained the water heater and noticed a slow leak in one of the water inlet hoses. They changed the hose and completed the water heater work. They did have to come back out and change the drain cap that was leaking. They came back out within the hour and did the work quickly and without complaint."

"Everything works perfectly now. I can't complain. Their experience really showed in the very swift manner in which they repaired the underground plastic pipes. They also gave me very explicit instructions as to what to do after they had repaired them. They told me not to walk on the ground for a day or two, and not to turn it on for at least 18-24 hours to let the cement set. It is supposed to set very quickly but nevertheless, they said why take chances, and I think that is experience talking. Everything was put back together in a more than acceptable manner. They are also working on a plan for our front yard and I haven’t seen that yet. They are very busy and I am very patient. They were most cooperative. When I asked a question, the older of the two guys gave me an answer, and he told me why it was the answer. He did it very quickly in good, clear English. It was most appreciated. I have used the sprinkler system, and it works. The first time, they called a few hours before they were to be there and said that the job that they were on turned out to be larger than anticipated because the other homeowner wanted them to do something else. The two of them worked together very well. They were very professional and knew exactly what they were doing."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, chemical drain cleaners contain sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, both of which are not only dangerous to your health but also extremely caustic. Drain cleaners will corrode your pipes and could lead to destroyed drain lines, especially if the chemicals interact with the piping for long periods. Unfortunately, this extended interaction is likely if you’re dealing with a clog, as the drain cleaner will have just as much trouble as water does moving through your plumbing system.

Several signs can tip you off to a clogged dishwasher drain. At first, you may notice that it’s taking longer than usual for the dishwasher to drain, or you may hear gurgling sounds during the draining part of the cycle. You might also notice water backing up into your sink or excess food at the bottom of the dishwasher after a load. The most obvious sign, though, is seeing standing water at the bottom of your dishwasher after the cycle has finished.

If you've discovered a rather frightening buildup of brown and black gunk below your shower cover, you're not alone. The smelly sludge is often a collection of mildew and biofilm. Biofilm comes from the breakdown of soap scum, hair, skin cells, and bacteria that collects during shower time. It's quite common in a humid space and relatively easy to clean with a gentle DIY cleaning solution such as baking soda and vinegar.

Professionals use snakes, hydrojetting, or chemical cleaners to clear blockages effectively without damaging pipes.

You can try several easy methods to unclog a drain, one of the easiest and most effective of which is to use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. This will help dislodge and dissolve the clog to move it down the drain pipes. Pour 1/2 cup baking soda into the drain, followed by 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Dump several cups of boiling water (or hot water if you have PVC pipes) into the drain and let sit for up to one hour. Run hot water to clear the drain.
