"We wanted our backyard to host guests and the rest with a natural touch. Josef helped us come up with a mix of paver patio and turf. The design worked out better than we thought, making the space look bigger. His team handled the grading and laid a proper base under both sections. The turf drains well, and the pavers stay cool even in the heat. Everything is solid, ad we now use that part of the yard every weekend."

"The actual work product put out by the workers who came to my home to build/construct my gazebo were outstanding. However, the staff who came out to do the initial contact were never given my phone number so when they were late I could not contact them and had to call the home office. They could not contact me either so there was a brief concern over the customer service. Once they arrived I was able to explain what my concerns were and they understood. The initial call came to me from Home Advisor and not Home2Renovate so that was why there was a mixup as to the initial appointment. Other than that, everything else was great including the bid price they provided for my project."

"Paul Oakley and his company Precision Building Corp recently completed our home renovation project. This was our first time embarking on a home renovation and we could not have found a better partner to support us in this project. The team was technically strong ,able to address complex engineering challenges with sound solutions, respond quickly to any change requests that we initiated and communicate any issues that they uncovered as we progressed through the project. Precisionâ s team were best-in-terms of their knowledge and expertise. The quality of the work across the board was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Dependability, thoroughness and timeliness were also areas where Paul excels. From the moment we started, the team showed up consistently on time and our home was thoughtfully protected and organized to avoid disruption or any damage to our furnishings and areas that were not impacted by the renovation. We developed a mutual trust, transparency and respect as we navigated through the project and the outcome is an incredible space that we are proud to share with our family and friends. We recommend Paul and Precision Building without hesitation and have done so to several of our friends who have seen our space and are looking for a contractor."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Professionals ensure safe, thorough repairs using quality materials, extending the life of your structure.
