"I needed a lot of old furniture and appliances hauled away when I remodeled my home, Zach had no problem getting rid of everything for me. He also did a very good job at explaining the whole process to me and gave a detailed breakdown of pricing."

"Mauricio and his assistant not only arrived punctually, they were a little early, which I really appreciated knowing the project was going to take a number of hours. Their attention to detail was fantastic! They even noted a dead tree in the back of our yard and took the time to discuss the situation with me and ask how I'd like to handle it. There was no assumption, I was given a recommendation but no pressure. Once finished, our yard looked so great I was ready to request quotes for future projects. I cannot recommend Solid Ground Landscaping highly enough!!"

Hauling questions, answered by experts

Costs depend on material volume, disposal fees, and labor requirements.

During a waste removal appointment, professionals assess the scope, organize items for removal, and safely transport them for appropriate disposal or recycling. Clients can expect efficiency, thoroughness, and clear communication throughout the process, resulting in a clutter-free space.

The most affordable way to dispose of hazardous waste is to find a local disposal program that accepts hazardous materials with no dumping fees. These programs are available in many communities and are funded by local governments. If you can transport your hazardous materials to the dumping site, you can often get rid of everything at no cost.

Choosing a junk disposal method begins with considering what kind of junk you’re getting rid of. If it’s hazardous waste, you’ll be more limited in your options and will either need to haul it to a dedicated disposal facility yourself or find a junk removal company that works with hazardous materials. If it’s general waste and mostly consists of small items, renting a dumpster is a great way to save money if you and some friends can move the junk into the dumpster yourselves. To save time and energy, though, hiring a junk hauler is the best option.

Your contractor should handle dust control during the project. It's best to speak with your contractor beforehand to check if they plan to cover your furniture, protect your vents, or use fans to redirect dust. Eliminating drywall dust is a particularly large challenge during construction, so always take this into account during your planning phase.
