The fabric I chose was a print -- I couldn't find what I wanted at first so they brought me boxes of remnants and I found just the perfect fabric for the remnant price. They couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. The upholstery job was incredible especially with such a tricky print. It is apparent that the upholsterer put a lot of thought into just how to center certain features in the pattern and matched the pattern beautifully on the cushion. I am very pleased and they are now upholstering my couch and I will be bringing in another chair!

The recliner was a $3,500 chair ten years ago and they completely refinished and rehabilitated it. The recliner has a distinct style. It is made out of wood with leather. I hauled the chair to their shop and what stood out to me about the service that they did for me was the quality of the work.

Lee was charming and responsive and the work was done quickly and very well. There was one small issue that they volunteered to correct free of charge, which was great. they definitely know what they are doing.

I contacted Lee Martin at Kay Chesterfield. They came to my home and presented me with a written estimate for each piece of furniture. They let me know when I could expect the delivery of the furniture. They arranged for the pick-up of each piece of furniture and returned the pieces either on or before the estimated time. They are the only firm use to re-upholster my furniture.

The woman who helped me was friendly and informative. She got someone to carry my table into the shop and back to my car. The estimate came quickly as did the repair. I plan to use them again.

They were very good in consulting with us about the appropriate kind of fabric. We were looking for a kind of fabric that we would be able to clean easily. They were really helpful in terms of bringing out a number of sample fabrics. I wanted them to replicate the seat cushions identically and they were helpful in terms of doing that. They kept me up to date all the time even then there were delays. They were pretty reasonably priced too.
