"Our fifty year old basic beige tile countertop was cracked and looked terrible. But to replace the entire kitchen's tile work with Formica or granite would have been extremely expensive and would have looked weird with our older wood cabinets. We thought maybe by getting some Mexican tile laid in to the damaged area and a new stainless steel sink, we could save some money and retain the old house charm.
