Our fifty year old basic beige tile countertop was cracked and looked terrible. But to replace the entire kitchen's tile work with Formica or granite would have been extremely expensive and would have looked weird with our older wood cabinets. We thought maybe by getting some Mexican tile laid in to the damaged area and a new stainless steel sink, we could save some money and retain the old house charm. Daniel was extremely careful and worked with us through some very tricky installation issues. The results were wonderful! So colorful and tasteful! It turned out better than we had hoped! Now, instead of a repair job that hid broken tile in our kitchen, the sink has become one of the favorite places in the house! Well done, Daniel!!!

Very professional friendly on time clean. We remodeled 5yrs ago but being rookies did not like the tile we picked for the shower pan. We found California Tile & grout on Anji and Daniel was able to replace the shower pan floor tile without any damage to the glass tile surround We love it now Thanks Daniel will recommend you to my friends

California Tile & Grout Repair made a fair estimate of the project and followed up with extensive work to remove existing shower floor replace drain fixtures put new waterproofing membrane, new tile, and grout. They called in relevant experts to replace the clogged-up drain. I am glad that the personnel were honest, trustworthy and went the extra mile in doing a more thorough job by fixing fundamental problems that could have been looked over and cause further issues later. Their work turned out to be top quality and they cleaned up after they were done.

I can only rate this business by the individual that showed up who was Daniel RA. He got there at the appointed time in the morning. I showed him the work to be done. He let me know that he was not sure he could complete the tiling job in the bathroom that had been left incomplete by the previous contractor basically due to lack of experience. The larger but less technical part of the job which was to complete grouting of the backsplash in the kitchen he agreed he could do. He went + got extra tiling just in case for the bathroom tub backsplash which he did complete. Not altogether precise in the cutting or positioning but it would be ok as the grout was a similar color. Just before noon he said he would be back in the morning to start the grouting. I asked why he would not be starting the kitchen today, he told me he only work 1/2 day jobs + that he had another job that afternoon! I paid him for less than we agreed which I feel was still too much. Start a job + not let the owner know you cannot finish until there is one foot out of the door I feel is incredibly unprofessional. I am so tired of apparently getting the wrong contractors regardless of reviews! I decided to do it myself + save myself the aggravation of paying someone for a cr***y job. I am glad I decided to pay myself, it turned out fine.
