She attempted to repair my garbage disposal unit but was unable to do so as the unit's wiring was worn out. I advised the unit is 40 yrs old. She recommended to purchase a new one. We made a trip together to the local Home Depot store and I purchased the same brand s she recommended. She installed it in record time (within the 2.5 hrs) and completed the job. She also cleaned the work space and carried the old one to my recycling bin. Very satisfied with her work. Also, I want to know if I will receive a billing statement for my records? "Very disappointed. This guy is a crook. I paid way too much for what he did and he did not do the work properly. He replaced pipes that were leaking from our upstairs shower. I had another leak a few weeks after he did the repair. 2nd leak was not related to the pipes he repaired, but the 2nd plumber who came out for the 2nd leak had to cut into the ceiling where HK&S Plumbing replaced the pipes and told me that the work was not done properly. He did not glue the pipes properly and he used a rubber coupling that is not allowed in California. The other plumbing company said they would fix his work for 65% less than what I paid HK&S. When I asked HK&S about all this, he gave excuses about the small space and how much more work it would have been to do the work the right way. When I asked him again for a refund, he is now saying his work will last "forever" (really?) and has nothing to say about what he did wrong. He is not giving me a refund. Not sure I will use anyone thru Angi again."
